Almost perfect

my biggest complaint with the grip 4 was the need for adhesive. 5 seems to have fixed that problem! Somehow they got the magnetic attractions figured out on how to keep the grip on the phone and not the fridge! But.... They made it thicker to do so...and charging through that extra space with a case gets hotter than the 4 was and it was already pretty hot. Can’t give it a 5 with the extra width, but I still think it’s the best out there.

I’ve always had a pop socket so this has taken some time to get use to it’s very flexible, but I’m sure with some more practice I will love it. The only issue I have is it will not charge with my MagSafe charger.

I really like the strength of the magnets and it doesn’t peel off when pulling the phone off a mount/charger - other phone rings have done that to me in the past. Also congrats on making a new MagSafe /chargeable grip!

Absolutely the most beautiful and functional phone grip. With the removal of the adhesive this MagSafe accessory is truly THE grip to use. Its svelte design means it seems invisible to carry but is there when needed yet removable for unrestricted wireless charging.

Improved but needs further refinement

The Snap Grip 5 has some significant improvements compared to the Snap Grip 4. The most obvious being an all white colorway, but also a stronger kickstand, more comfortable one finger mode, and better wireless charging capabilities. Where the Snap Grip 5 falls short to the Snap Grip 4 is in magnetic strength. It is much weaker than the 4 when placing on a magnetic surface or using it in a magnetic phone holder. My biggest con to the Snap Grip 5 is that multiple times it has popped off my phone while I was pressing the lock button with a one or two finger grip. It popping off has caused my phone to drop out of my hand multiple times. The product came with optional adhesive, but part of what drew me to buy the Snap Grip 5 was the ability take it off and switch grips.

Not as good as the last version

I loved the feature that I could take the newest version on and off as needed. However the magnet is not as strong as the one I owned previously. It sometimes falls off of the magnetic holder I have in my car and in my room. Still a decent product overall but wish the magnetic strength was stronger on the new models
