Perfection

The Snap Grip 5 is perfection. It's incredibly thin (so no snags as I slide my phone into my pocket), the magnet is super strong, and the grip itself is so easy to use (and oddly satisfying to open and close). The packaging was thoughtful, funny, and sleek. This grip is high quality all the way from the packaging it arrives in to the grip mechanism itself! I have an iPhone 17 Pro, which was not listed as an option for what type of phone I put the grip onto.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love it. The *Snap* is oh so satisfying. Ditching the sticky glue stuff makes it so much more modular, I use it with and without a case. The only thing is, and I’m not sure if it’s the 17 Pro Max’s fault or not, but it doesn’t really magnetize to ALL surfaces anymore. There are a couple spots at work where I used to slap the 16 Pro Max up with the old one, but this one just starts slowly sliding down. (Also, ya’ll don’t give the iPhone 16 or 17 as phone choices with the review.)

King of All Phone Grips!

I’ve always used a regular pop socket on my phones but decided to switch after seeing an ad on Instagram. I’m sooooo happy I did! The low profile is awesome and I can now wirelessly charge my phone (something I couldn’t do with a pop socket). The feel in my hand is amazing and I love showing off the magnetic capabilities! I constantly recommend this to all my friends and family. You will not regret this purchase!

I like the snap 5. Better magnets than before but still kinda just slides off of metal surfaces rather than holding tight and secure. Also doesn’t want to work with the old snap wall mount accessory. I had to use an old wore out snap ring and glue it to the snap wall mount to get the new one to magnetize with some confidence. Once again my fingers don’t fit but I guess that’s just an XL glove hand problem. Also it’s on an iPhone 17

Just wanted to give some honest feedback. I think the design for the most part is really good. The feel of the ring itself is solid and the magnets are strong. The finger portion however feels very thin and flimsy. Personally I have large hands, it is not very easy to get my fingers under it at first but feels okay once they are under it. Because it is so thin, I feel like it might break easily if if my fingers push to far in. Another reason I didn’t give many stars is because it took so long to get an answer to weather or not the MagSafe charging would work if my phone already had a case to it. All in all I would not buy again. The cost is too high for what it is. Honestly how many people do not put their phone in a case? Probably a very small percentage. Between the cost of the case and the ohsnap, I could have bought a case that incorporates both.

Missed the Mark

I love OhSnap! products, but this one didn’t quite do it for me. I expected the magnets in it to stick to the phone much better, which they do but also expected the same magnetic force on the outside as I’m used to. It can barely hold itself up when I stick it to my car or fridge.

MagSafe doesn’t charge unless removed

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a cool phone accessory but it’s over priced and false marketing when it comes to using MagSafe while having the grip on, I have to remove it to charge my phone each time, it might work with same brand charger idk but doesn’t charge with apple brand chargers
