I do like that there is no need to mess with adhesive, but it's fallen off of my car mount twice already and doesn't snap onto it easily, it takes adjusting now. With the four I had placed my phone on like the fridge or cabinet and it would magnetically stick, with the five it slides down slowly. It seems maybe rushed, the back still says snap 4 on it.

Weak surface magnet

I've tried the snap 4 and decided to buy the 5 because it doesn't require adhesive. It does have strong magnets that hold it to the phone very well. However, its ability to hold the phone to metal surfaces is far weaker than the snap 4. I use a vertical charger so that my phone can be my alarm clock. The slightest jostle and my phone falls right off the charger with the snap 5.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best grip for a phone

dropped this onto my new iPhone 17 Pro. Performs perfectly. I love the versatility of this grip. It is strong and best of all, folds almost flat. I can charge through it and it clips solid to my MagSafe mount. Super impressed. Would totally buy again.

love the new concept of no more stick, but the magnet is not strong when putting it on a pull up bar or workout machine, the previous one I had would stick on any metal platforms really well and I wouldn’t have to worry about it sliding off.

Love the grip. This is my 3 or 4th. I grab a new one every year with the new iPhone release. I love that this one is a double sided magnet and can still MagSafe charge without needing to remove it.Shipping was a bit slow a one of my 2 grips seemed to get. Lost on the way

I’m a one armed lefty and had never tried a grip like this. I us an iPhone 15 Pro Max with an Otterbox case. The grip attaches firmly and helps me hold the phone securely. Great product!

Magnet too strong for adhesive

I’ve been using this grip for a bit now and it has functioned fairly well, but I don’t think I’ll be able to keep using it or recommend it to anyone who uses MagSafe accessories. I installed the grip on a brand new smooth case, so the adhesive had its best opportunity to perform. However, the grip is regularly left behind on my MagSafe wallet or chargers instead of staying on my phone.
