if you fix the shortcomings,it's convenient

Engineers should work on this device more, 1. hot air blows directly onto the power cable (in the future, insulation damage, short circuit, fire and wiring failure as a result), crisper plates have rubber parts on which food is cooked, it is unlikely that this rubber will make your food useful for your body!

You will have to pay to return-Difficult to clean

Even the large bowl is too small since requires one layer for air frying. Says to wipe the grill below the heating element with water clean. This will not remove the oils splattered from cooking. The grill is screwed on and is not supposed to be removed to clean the splattered grease near heating coil. No free returns.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I Want to Love This, But I'm Really Frustrated

I’ve had the Ninja Crispi for about a week now and was genuinely excited to start using it. Unfortunately, I began receiving the “lid error” message on day one. I followed the troubleshooting steps on the website — shaking the pod, unplugging and plugging it back in — and even got a message to clean the unit. Clean it? It was literally the first time I used it. Not dirty.
On top of that, I haven’t experienced the crunch or crisp results that are heavily advertised. After a full cook cycle, I was able to remove tilapia from the unit with my bare hands — no sizzle, no crisp, and definitely no “Crispi.” The re-crisp feature was so frustrating that I gave up and ate my drumstick cold. Even the original cook didn’t crisp the skin.
I had high hopes and even purchased a carrying case, silicone pod rest, silicone motor cover, and liner inserts ahead of time — all because every other Ninja product I’ve owned has been top-notch and over-delivered. This one? Not even close.
At this price point, I expected more — especially from the Ninja brand. After less than half a dozen uses, I’m already ready to throw in the towel. I want to love this product, but so far, it’s just been a letdown.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cooking too fast?

I made the apple turnovers in the recipe booklet. It says to bake for 17 minutes but after 5 minutes the dough already turned brown and I turned them after 7 minutes and let them bake for another 5 minutes and that side was super brown also. I don’t know if my fryer is too hot or the recipe is off.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Piece of garbage!

Second time I’ve used and after cooking the potatoes for 15 minutes placing the chicken In remainder of the time the lid is faulty and the unit shuts down and can’t restart. Total piece of garbage!!!! Don’t waste your money. I’m sending it back!!!

Very disappointing
on November 12, 2025

I bought this product a couple weeks ago and I'm just getting a chance to open it. Straight out of the box I read the manual and set it up. I decided to do some nuggets and fries. it only works for 10 minutes then I got the lid error. I tried everything it only works for 10seconds before going back the lid error

Not As East As They Make It Sound

It is nice but I have yet to not burn the outside of everything I cook. I've followed the listed instructions for times & cooking setting. Red potatoes were dark on the outside and dry in the middle. Chicken breast's were burnt on the outside before the inside was the right temp.
I tried different setting, so bake instead of air fry, etc. Different amount of times and keeping my eye on it. Everything I tried had pretty much the same outcome. Other biggest flaw, you cannot adjust the temperature and it does not even tell you what the temp is for each setting. Googling it, you end up with 10 different answers.
I can't say that it may not be user error, but it's not as easy as they make it look and sound. I'm disappointed.

Disappointed in that there is no method to regulate temperature. I'll go back to a regular air fryer.
