Bye bye dog hair

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vacuum took 90 seconds to set up. I like the storage for the two tools, and the pet hair tool has a rubber flexible brush inside which is really effective for dog hair. The suction is very strong! The picture below is just after one room. It really does seem to be tangle free, as I could see some orange threads in the container after which I would typically have to remove from other vacuum’s brush. Overall it’s light and the swivel function provides for easy steering. The brush height adjuster is a simple switch with multiple settings so it worked perfectly over the carpet, rugs, and the wood floor. Highly recommend to pet owners to eliminate the hair and dander!

Heavy duty vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Bissell CleanView Max Tangle-Free is a great, heavy duty vacuum. It has an adjustable pile height that gives the ability to go from hard flooring to high pile carpet. The container seems to be bigger than the previous model which gives more time before needing to empty it. The one downside is it is quite big and heavy. A bit bigger than another similar model by Bissell.
I would recommend this to a friend!

AMAZING FOR CARPET

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received my Bissell Clean view Max Tangle-Free Upright Vacuum, I couldn’t wait to try it out. Right away, I was impressed by how easy it was to assemble —just click a few parts into place, twist on the hose, and it’s ready to go. No complicated setup or tools needed. I love when a product is simple and straightforward right out of the box.
Now, I should start by saying that I have three kids and a chocolate lab, so my house can get messy fast. Between the pet hair, crumbs, and everyday dirt from kids running around, my floors definitely get a workout. I have both hardwood and carpeted floors, and I usually sweep or vacuum at least once, sometimes twice a day. So, when I say I’ve put this vacuum to the test, I mean it!
The first thing that really stood out to me was the incredible suction power. I was honestly shocked at how much dirt and debris it pulled out of my carpets — things my old vacuum clearly left behind. I could actually see the difference in my carpet after just one pass. It fluffed the fibers back up and left everything looking clean and fresh.
When it comes to pet hair, this vacuum is a total winner. I have a chocolate lab who sheds a lot, and this vacuum handled it like a champ. The tangle-free brush roll really works — no more stopping mid-clean to cut hair out of the roller. It just keeps going. I couldn’t believe how much pet hair it picked up that my previous vacuum missed.
Another thing I love is that it’s surprisingly quiet for such a powerful machine. It’s noticeably quieter than my old vacuum, which makes a big difference when you’re cleaning around kids or pets. The LED lights on the front are another favorite feature — they’re super bright and help me see dust and debris in darker areas, especially under furniture.
The lightweight design is a big plus too. It’s easy to carry from room to room and doesn’t feel bulky or heavy. The handheld attachments are great for baseboards, corners, and tight spaces. I’ve used the hose and crevice tool on stairs and even on my car interior — the suction through the handheld tools is just as strong as through the main vacuum head, which is impressive.
I also appreciate the adjustable floor height settings, since I have a mix of high-pile carpet, low-pile carpet, and hardwood. It glides smoothly over all of them with just a quick adjustment.
Cleaning and maintenance are super easy as well. I like to keep my vacuum clean inside and out, so I took it apart to see how everything came apart — and it’s so simple. You can remove the brush roller for cleaning, which is something my old vacuum didn’t allow. All the parts detach easily and can be washed, which is a feature I really love. It makes it so much easier to keep the vacuum fresh and working at its best.
Now, as much as I love this vacuum, I did notice two small downsides. The first is that on hardwood floors, the suction is so strong that it can sometimes push lighter debris around instead of picking it up right away. It’s not a deal breaker, just something I noticed. The second is the cord length — it’s a little shorter than I’d like, especially when vacuuming larger rooms. But honestly, that’s easily fixed with an extension cord.
Those minor things aside, Between the powerful suction, tangle-free design, bright lights, and easy maintenance, this vacuum is an awesome vacuum

Love this vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is fantastic! My dog is a heavy shedder and this machine cleared away the dog hair with no issues. I have high pile, low pile, and bare hardwood floors in my home, and this vacuum glided over all of them with ease. I have mixed feelings on the headlamp; it illuminated messes I may have missed, but also felt a little distracting since it’s a bright LED. I love that the handle doubles as a lengthy cleaning wand- this makes it so easy to grab dust bunnies deep under the couch or cobwebs up near the ceiling. This machine is easy to empty, and it’s fairly lightweight for being a full size vacuum. I think this may replace my regular vacuum for weekly use!

Amazing Cleaning Power

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s start with the pros of the Bissell CleanView Max Tangle-Free vacuum. This vacuum has amazing suction power especially for its price point. It was getting up dirt and pet hair that our other (more expensive) vacuum missed! We have a cat and a dog in our house and I have long hair, all that usually gets wrapped around the roller brush of any vacuum we use, but after a few weeks of using this vacuum there is nothing around the roller brush. The cons, I would prefer the power cord to be on the left side of the vacuum. I’m right handed so I hold the vacuum in my right hand and with the power cord on the right it’s hard to control it while I’m vacuuming. If you’re left handed this is the vacuum for you! Also the base of the vacuum is a bit bulkier and isn’t able to get underneath my low profile furniture. Overall the cleaning power of this vacuum really is amazing, it’s a great value.

Budget Friendly and Boss

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re looking for an affordable vacuum that doesn’t break the bank and gets the job done the BISSELL CleanView Max Tangle-Free is what you’re looking for. The BISSELL CleanView Max Tangle-Free has features found in more expensive vacuums for a much better price. Some of those features include the swivel steering and a tangle free brush roll. I really like the swivel steering along with it only weighing 13 lbs., which I believe is on the light side for an upright vacuum. It really is easy to maneuver despite not being self-propelled. It has a modern clean and simple design and is not too complicated to use. Let’s talk suction because well that’s what vacuums are for. My daughter had spilled purple sand all over the carpet the day after I got the vacuum, so it was a perfect opportunity to test out its power. It sucked up all the sand on its first pass no problem. It also got the pet hair I couldn’t even see. My favorite feature on this vacuum is the lights. The 4 LED headlights on the base are the brightest I have ever seen on a vacuum/floor cleaning machine, I even tried turning off the lights to see if I could get the job done in the dark and was very impressed with how well I could still see. This feature can really help when getting behind chairs or furniture where you may have shadows. Besides the lights my favorite feature must be the tangle free brush roll. I hate having to get down on the floor and take apart a vacuum to cut the hair out of the brush. It’s so inconvenient and messy and in a house with two long haired girls and two long haired dogs it so nice to not have to do that.
The only complaint I had about this product is that it didn’t do quite as well of a job on my kitchen ceramic tile floor as it did on the carpet. It still got everything, but I needed to make a couple passes to be completely thorough. The turboeraser pet tool with the extension wand made an easy cleanup of the sand my L.O. got all over the couch cushions too. All in all, I was very impressed with the quality of this vacuum especially considering the price. It’s a great value product and a bonus I love is that a portion of every BISSELL purchase goes to saving pets

Good but not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This vacuum is pretty good! The design is a little unique. The switch is by your feet which some people might like but it feels kinda weird to me. Also the hose is hard to get in and out so it’s hard for me to switch between attachments. I appreciate that my hair doesn’t tangle in it which is what happens really bad with my old vacuum. It picks up dust well on my hard wood floors. It is kinda large and clunky but not heavy. I would prefer maybe a sleeker design. I really love the light that shows what’s your vacuuming. It is also extremely loud which is a huge con for me as I do a lot of house work while my baby is asleep. Overall does the job well but has some design flaws.

Clean View Max

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When you think I don’t know ball, I know ball. Two kids (ages one and seven) and two Siberian Huskies. If you aren’t savvy with dogs, that’s basically like having one semi tame polar bear in your home 24/7/365. My life is hair and crumbs. I know ball, or in this case, sweepers.
The CleanView Max Tangle-Free gets down and dirty. She makes the beautiful sound that scratches your brain just right when all that junk you don’t want on your floors get sucked up into the dust container. I LOVED the ability to control the roller height that also fluctuates suction power. With multiple hard and soft surfaces throughout the home it’s wonderful to have a customized clean for each individual room. Speaking of individualized clean, you ever vacuumed in the dark with headlights on your sweeper? GAME CHANGER. The headlights help illuminate all those little sneaky boogers you thought you got but sadly didn’t. Perhaps that’s operator error and I need a routine eye exam, but I digress. Solid feature to kick the brights on for some extra quality control.
One point of improvement is the locking feature on the main vacuum base. I don’t love that you have to manually lock it in. I can’t count the number of times I would set the handle up thinking she was locked in only for it to come crashing down. Additionally, the swivel feature while cleaning could have used some butter or WD40. I wanted her to glide like a speed skater on ice, not my grandpa’s old farm truck.
Overall, I feel the CleanView Max Tangle-Free is a great vacuum. She’s straight forward, reliable and does her job. Would recommend for the value and can’t wait to see how she holds up long term for our home and its needs!
