Okay overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time user of BISSELL products, so I was really excited to try this one out! I currently own a BISSELL zing, a wet/dry vac, and a carpet shampooer, so I feel like I'm pretty well versed with the brand. Upon opening the box, I was slightly disappointed as I feel the quality is not up to par with with I'm used to from BISSELL. The machine is lightweight, but feels cheaply made. The vacuum had a foot pedal to be able to move the handle and a foot power button both of which I appreciate, however, sometimes it was hard to push the handle back up into a locking position. The handle does swivel which is nice when trying to get to hard to reach spots. The base of the vacuum where the brush is located, is very bulky and had trouble even going slightly under the lip of my kitchen cabinets. The light on the vacuum is very bright and was a huge bonus on this model. This model does an ok job on hard surfaces, there doesn't seem to be a lot of kick out of debris that you can sometimes have when using a vacuum on hard floors, but it did have some difficulty picking up pet hair. The pet attachment is fabulous and did a really great job on getting our golden's hair off a black ottoman. I was genuinely shocked at how much dog hair it was able to pull out of our carpets. I was skeptical given how lightweight the vacuum is, but the proof is in the pictures. I vacuum our floors every other day, and this is still what I was able to get up. Overall, I think this is a good unit for someone who needs a lighter vacuum, won't need to get under a bunch of furniture, and needs something from a reliable brand.

A winner from Carpet to Couch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The CleanView Max Tangle-Free vacuum is my answer to combating cat fur hiding both in my carpet and my couch. One of the pictures I have included is only from cleaning my couch with the TurboEraser Pet attachment. I was honestly impressed with the suction and success of the attachment in getting the job done! The suction is great and efficient. The lights on the front end were helpful when cleaning under my bed. My biggest takeaway, which some my consider a flaw, was having to assemble some parts after unpacking. At first I was annoyed, but once I put it together I realized that in doing so, I now am able to easily take the vacuum apart. Vacuums are notoriously clogged by toys and other hazards hiding in our house that I now can effortlessly fix without risk of breaking the product. The only criticism I have is that it does not turn and rotate as effortlessly as some lighter vacuums, but I'll take the better suction over perfect mobility any day.

Great Vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed by this vacuum- for the price point, it does a truly amazing job. The pictures below are... embarrassing and a little gross, but I think they illustrate how great the vacuum is. First of all, the design is nice. It's a good size, so it doesn't hurt my back to use (my fellow millennials over 35 will understand that) but also lightweight. I love how easy it is to transition from the main vacuum to using the wand or attachments. There's a nice place to loop the cord, and all the attachments fit on the main body. The overall design is functional and efficient.
Now for the functionality. We have an automatic robot vacuum that vacuums the downstairs, including the area rug, on a regular basis. Apparently that robot vacuum is completely insufficient, because look how much dust, hair, and debris this vacuum picked up! FROM ONE RUG!!! I knew we needed a better vacuum but for the love of all that is holy I didn't realize it was *that* bad. Next I took the vacuum for a spin on the stairs- I really enjoyed the little roller attachment. That plus the wand made it much easier to vacuum the carpeted stairs, and did a great job picking up the dog hair my dog lovingly leaves behind. (Side note: he's a Doberman, so there's no fluffy hair to ball up. It's millions of tiny little needle hairs that work their way into *everything* and never come out... until this vacuum.) After the stairs I easily emptied the canister (again) and vacuumed the upstairs loft/ movie room. And again, I was amazed at the fluff, dust, and debris picked up by the vacuum. And I don't know about you, but I love it when the vacuum leaves behind good lines- and this vacuum leaves behind very satisfying lines in the carpet. Makes it look freshly cleaned =) So we empty the cannister again (quick and easy removal, emptied in one button) and continued on. I won't keep showing pictures from every room because it gets redundant, but you get the picture. It's a good thing it's so easy to empty out because apparently I don't vacuum nearly enough... but now with this great vacuum I'll be even more efficient and thorough when I do =)

Well worth it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing price point and quality! I was so excited to use this when it arrived. Putting it together was simple and self-explanatory. The suction power on this vacuum is incredible! I love that the wand feature detaches and extends to an optimal length for hard to reach places both high and low. The accessories are all have a place on the vacuum and are perfect for curtains, upholstery, and stairs. I could even get under our couch and in tight spaces without moving furniture. Absolutely loved using the brush accessory for our baseboards and vents! (It was about that time.)The feature to change the floor settings is awesome and seems to adjust the suction accordingly. My husband even questioned why I was using it on hardwood floors, but the outcome spoke for itself. It even had a cool light that made all the hidden dirt visible for vacuuming. The button at the bottom where you could turn it on and off with your foot is gold! I also loved how big the tank is and I was surprised at all it had collected. With four girls in the house and a dog, I was shocked that there wasn’t any hair trapped around the brush. I do wish that the cord was retractable, but even with it fully extended it did not tangle. It is light enough to move it around freely and carry it up the stairs. It’s so awesome my husband took it from me to use it himself. I’m still waiting for it back, but filling out this review reminded me that I can’t wait to use it again ! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the CleanView Max Tangle-Free vacuum!

Pet hair no more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I just want to start off by saying this is an amazing vacuum. It's visually appealing and looks pretty high end. Design and colors are nice as well. The suction power on this vacuum is top notch. I have a carpet in the front of my home that my cat and dog love to lay on so I decided that would be the first place for me to try out. Let me tell you that it sucked up so much hair and dirt/dust that I was absolutely shocked and in a good way. I even tried it on the non carpet floor and it cleaned up messes just as good. The headlights were also a great feature because I could see what I was vacuuming and saw that everything was getting picked up. Even in hard to see spots, this feature was definitely a plus. My favorite feature has to be the wand with extension tools. That really helped me get along the baseboards and any smaller hard to reach spots. I also like how everything has a set spot on the machine so you just pop everything back in place and use the vacuum as normal. I know the suction on this vacuum is amazing so I tried something a little different and used it on the carpet in my car while cleaning it out. Worked just as well and even better than my regular car vacuum. This product is exactly what you want it for. To get all the dirt, dust and hair off your carpets and floor. Highly recommend.

Bye bye dog hair

I like the storage for the two tools, and the pet hair tool has a rubber flexible brush inside which is really effective for dog hair. The suction is very strong! The picture below is just after one room. It really does seem to be tangle free, as I could see some orange threads in the container after which I would typically have to remove from other vacuum’s brush. Overall it’s light and the swivel function provides for easy steering. The brush height adjuster is a simple switch with multiple settings so it worked perfectly over the carpet, rugs, and the wood floor. Highly recommend to pet owners to eliminate the hair and dander!

Heavy duty vacuum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Bissell CleanView Max Tangle-Free is a great, heavy duty vacuum. It has an adjustable pile height that gives the ability to go from hard flooring to high pile carpet. The container seems to be bigger than the previous model which gives more time before needing to empty it. The one downside is it is quite big and heavy. A bit bigger than another similar model by Bissell.
I would recommend this to a friend!

AMAZING FOR CARPET

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I received my Bissell Clean view Max Tangle-Free Upright Vacuum, I couldn’t wait to try it out. Right away, I was impressed by how easy it was to assemble —just click a few parts into place, twist on the hose, and it’s ready to go. No complicated setup or tools needed. I love when a product is simple and straightforward right out of the box.
Now, I should start by saying that I have three kids and a chocolate lab, so my house can get messy fast. Between the pet hair, crumbs, and everyday dirt from kids running around, my floors definitely get a workout. I have both hardwood and carpeted floors, and I usually sweep or vacuum at least once, sometimes twice a day. So, when I say I’ve put this vacuum to the test, I mean it!
The first thing that really stood out to me was the incredible suction power. I was honestly shocked at how much dirt and debris it pulled out of my carpets — things my old vacuum clearly left behind. I could actually see the difference in my carpet after just one pass. It fluffed the fibers back up and left everything looking clean and fresh.
When it comes to pet hair, this vacuum is a total winner. I have a chocolate lab who sheds a lot, and this vacuum handled it like a champ. The tangle-free brush roll really works — no more stopping mid-clean to cut hair out of the roller. It just keeps going. I couldn’t believe how much pet hair it picked up that my previous vacuum missed.
Another thing I love is that it’s surprisingly quiet for such a powerful machine. It’s noticeably quieter than my old vacuum, which makes a big difference when you’re cleaning around kids or pets. The LED lights on the front are another favorite feature — they’re super bright and help me see dust and debris in darker areas, especially under furniture.
The lightweight design is a big plus too. It’s easy to carry from room to room and doesn’t feel bulky or heavy. The handheld attachments are great for baseboards, corners, and tight spaces. I’ve used the hose and crevice tool on stairs and even on my car interior — the suction through the handheld tools is just as strong as through the main vacuum head, which is impressive.
I also appreciate the adjustable floor height settings, since I have a mix of high-pile carpet, low-pile carpet, and hardwood. It glides smoothly over all of them with just a quick adjustment.
Cleaning and maintenance are super easy as well. I like to keep my vacuum clean inside and out, so I took it apart to see how everything came apart — and it’s so simple. You can remove the brush roller for cleaning, which is something my old vacuum didn’t allow. All the parts detach easily and can be washed, which is a feature I really love. It makes it so much easier to keep the vacuum fresh and working at its best.
Now, as much as I love this vacuum, I did notice two small downsides. The first is that on hardwood floors, the suction is so strong that it can sometimes push lighter debris around instead of picking it up right away. It’s not a deal breaker, just something I noticed. The second is the cord length — it’s a little shorter than I’d like, especially when vacuuming larger rooms. But honestly, that’s easily fixed with an extension cord.
Those minor things aside, Between the powerful suction, tangle-free design, bright lights, and easy maintenance, this vacuum is an awesome vacuum
