Great shine but that's it for me

I've had this for a couple of weeks. It was purchased when there was a sale so I felt it was worth the price . I've used it several times. It gives off a strange burnt odor when set to high. I followed the instructions online that stated if there is an odor you should allow it to heat up and burn off for a period of time before using it. I use it on my fine wavy hair at the lowest heat setting and the second setting for air. I haven't figured how to use this properly. It's not like the typical Revlon volume oval hot airbrush. The shark ninja gives a much more shiny sleek straight look. However, trying to curl it is challenging. I think for people who have thicker hair or coarse hair and are looking to straighten with moderate volume, this product works well. If you have very fine thin hair and are looking for more volume, I'm not sure this product will give it to you. It's more of a straightening tool and will leave your hair more flat on your head which makes fine hair look even thinner. It does give a healthy shine but again lacks in the curl. Right now the weather is still cold in my area. I'm hoping in the summer when there's more humidity it may work better. I will probably give this to my daughter who has thicker hair.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A must have hair tool!!!!

The performance and durability are outstanding on this styling tool. I love how the effects last days in my hair and looks like I had an expensive hair treatment done. I recommend this tool to everyone, you won’t regret it!

Disappointed that my glossi turns off an on while using. Had the glossi for about 2 months now and upset that it is doing this never once dropped or mishandled my glossi. Sad because it works great but not reliable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Tangles and mats hairs very easily and makes it super frizzy if you wait for your hair to dry too much or twist wrong. I’ve lost a lot of hair from this tool unfortunately but it gives good results other than pulling your hair out

A game changer for thick hair!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always struggled with my thick wavy hair – frizz tends to take over unless I put in a lot of effort. For this reason, I’m always looking for styling tools that are easy to use as I don’t like fussing too much, but that would tame my hair and make it look more manageable. I recently got the Shark Glossi and I’ve been so happy with it.
The first time I used it I noticed it combines heat and airflow in a way that feels different from a straight blow dryer or a brush on its own. It’s lightweight so holding it through my styling session isn’t tiring and the shape makes it easy to move through my hair without feeling awkward.
Using it on damp hair first I could feel the airflow and warmth working together to smooth the waves instead of just drying them out as I went through my hair in sections, it became clear pretty quickly that this tool was acting more like a hot tool and a drying brush in one. I wasn’t fighting the frizz as much as I normally do and there was a noticeable sleekness to my hair once I got near the ends.
The customizable settings helped too, switching between airflow and heat combinations made it easier to adjust based on how damp different sections were. It’s not instant, but after a few passes, it really does cut down the time I would normally spend with a separate dryer and brush. My hair felt smoother and looked more styled than usual versus just using a regular dryer or brush by themselves.
Overall, I’m happy with how it fits into my routine. My hair ends up looking sleek and less frizzy them before which makes mornings feel a little easier. It doesn’t take the place of every tool I own, but for helping manage my thick wavy hair and giving it a styled look with minimal hassle. It’s been a reliable addition.

I love this!!! Not only is it super cute- it works like a dream too. I already have the speed flex (and love) but I don’t love using the brush attachment with it. This is better for me without the angle I guess,I can switch hands. So now I have 2 great Shark products!!
