Sound and quality great, bluetooth connection not

The sound quality is excellent even though the sound stage could feel larger. The app seems to work pretty well with my Pixel 6 Pro and I'm glad to see firmware updates twice so far with only a week of ownership. However, the bluetooth connection settings need to be fixed. I should have the ability to turn off bluetooth multipoint (or any equivalent setting). There are times where I want to enable this but most of the time I do not want to have 2 devices connected at once. I want to connect to my phone, then when I am ready, find the previous connection on my laptop and select it to have the headset drop the phone and select the laptop to connect to. Having to coordinate this with the app is really convoluted even though it sort of works.

Comparison tested and dominated

Amazing sound, and even more amazing when you consider the price to performance ratio. I compared these headphones against Bose QC45 and Ultra, as well as Sony 1000 XM 4 and 5, Beats Pro, Apple Max headphones and several other highly rated brands….and the winner was the Sennheiser Momentum 4 wireless headset with noise cancelling that would make a meditative monk feel lonely. And the complexity of the sound stage is exceptional and immersive. Battery life is exceptional at 60 hours. Very pleased with these headphones.

Bought this after trying my friend's Momentum 4 on... I am in love with this! Dynamic sound with accurate deep bass and crisp details! Super comfortable too!

Need to bee polished

Sounds great, but feels not so comfortable, as I expected. Single tap control is not handful, it often trigger pause\play when I just want to correct the heaphones possition on my head. Put on\off sensor works only for right ear, which I only drop off to temporary listen somebody outside, and when I put it back music is not always start play again (ancident 1 tap + sensor reaction = play+stop?). I don't know, but it's annoying.

Superb sound quality and very good ANC

As usual, sennheiser did once again. In terms of sound picture, it is superb. High and mid ranges are clear and crisp. The bases are deep and fat but without loosing resolution. I find them a bit lacking in the ANC department compared to Bose q45. I know it by design that sennheiser left the ambient sourounding sound to sip through for safety issues, and I wish they would have just went for better passive sound proofing and ANC as to be able to completely shut out the sourounding if one wants to (like that crying baby on a long flight). But for all the other cases which is 90% of the time they have nailed it. I just love how the sound stage soround me and envelope me with my favorite music pieces. They really compliment what ever I play through them.

Relief and perfection

Around 6 years ago I purchased a pair of Sony's XM2 headpones, and they completely changed my relationship with music and headphones (I'd never owned higher end headphones). I recently decided to upgrade to a newer version of their XM series, and immediately felt like something was off. They were "OK", but they just weren't quite right. Intruments were missing or muffled, subtle notes or changes in voice or pitch weren't coming through, I don't know -it's hard to explain what was "off". I ended up returning them after a week of stressing over it, and decided to try these instead. Everything comes through these headphones, everything is clear and crisp, there are sounds I didn't even know were in some songs that come through these. There's a music video that I started watching recently, where I didn't even know you could hear the torch that's in one scene. I went back to my old XM2s to see if it was there, and while it was, it wasn't as noticeable (and it wasn't heard at all in the newer version). Everything about these headphones is perfect -the fit, the comfort, the material and sound quality.

One of the Single Best Products I've Puchased

Pre-review note: I've owned the Momentum 2's and Momentum 3's in the past, so this is not my first experience with this line of headphones.
I bought the Momentum 4's maybe a year ago or so (give or take, I don't exactly remember) and I could not be happier with my purchase. These headphones blew my expectations put of the water completely. The audio quality all around is superb, with crisp sound, and deep and powerful bass without anything becoming muffled or overpowering. The noise cancelation is the best it's ever been in the Momentum line so far as well. The 2 biggest leaps of improvement with these headphones over the previous Momentum headphones though are the absolute comfort while wearing them, and the battery life. I can wear these headphones literally all day from waking up to falling asleep and not feel any pain or discomfort at all (which says something because my head tends to be sensitive to headphone and earbud strain). I've never had any personal audio device in my life where that's been the case. As for the battery life, it's very impressive. These headphones can potentially last you a week without needing to charge them. Once again, I've never experienced a device with such an efficient battery in my life.
There's no end to the positives I could give about these headphones, so I'll just give whatever cons I can muster up for the rest of the review to save us some time. Con 1, the touch controls are not my personal preference, I prefer physical controls like on the Momentum 3, but it's not a big deal to me, especially since you can use the app to turn off the touch controls if you don't want them on for fear of accidental touches. Con 2, the mic on the headphones isn't the best quality, but this is really just an unfair nitpick since this isn't meant to be something like a gaming headset (if anything it's great that it has a mic in the first place). Con 3, if you can call it one, is that the visual identity has somewhat been lost from the previous Momentum headphones. The older ones looked more visually interesting, although I really don't care personally. I remember the Momentum 3's also being made with a lot of metal components which gave it incredible durability. I really can't think of any more negatives.
In conclusion, if you're on the fence about these headphones, they're definitely a great pick and I can't recommend them enough. If the price is a little steep for you, I've seen several decent sales for these. If you decide to get these, I hope you enjoy them as much as I have been and will continue to.

Perfect first premium ANC headphones

These are my first ANC headphones and wow - I’m impressed! Sound quality is phenomenal. ANC truly works wonders. So far I’ve tried it near a washing machine, microwave, and coffee grinder (all at the same time too) and it was night and day. Transparency mode works great too, I believe it actually amplifies surroundings if you turn it all the way up. My only wish would be more premium materials like metal in place of plastic. For the price paid (pre-black Friday sale) I am very happy with these headphones.
