Easy set up

Need wiring in place prior to installation.

Had to have electrician install new wining so it was up to code. Works nicely. Light is bright. Have some difficulty with getting alerts for rabbits and squirrels.

Love Ring

Bright, reliable, and smart — the Ring Floodlight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently installed the Ring Floodlight Cam Pro (2nd Gen) above our back door, and it’s been a great upgrade to our home security. The video quality is crisp and clear, both during the day and at night, and the floodlights are impressively bright without feeling harsh or overwhelming.
One of my favorite features is the advanced motion detection — alerts are quick and accurate, and the customizable motion zones make a noticeable difference in reducing unnecessary notifications. The two-way audio is clear, and everything runs smoothly through the Ring app, which is easy to navigate and reliable.
Installation took a bit of time, especially mounting it securely, but once installed it feels very sturdy and well-made. It’s held up well through different weather conditions and looks sleek on the house.
The Ring Protect subscription is something to keep in mind for video history, but overall this camera delivers on both security and convenience. If you’re looking for a floodlight camera that combines strong lighting, smart features, and dependable performance, this one is absolutely worth considering.

Great flood light feeling secure!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I really like this camera. So much that I’ve decided o need more cameras for my house lol. It’s easy to function with the app. Set up is easy as ot comes with all the pieces you need. The flood light is bright and the motion sensor works well a tiny delayed but not noticeable too much. I haven’t tried the talk feature but I definitely feel more secure in my house!

Outdoor Floodlight with cam footage

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Ring Flood Light compliments of Influenster. If you aren’t comfortable with wiring lights, you will need to have this installed by someone who can help you. This is hard wired. The lights are LED and motion activated. The outdoor light switch needs to be on at all times. The Ring app to monitor the camera is free to install on your phone. There are some free features and different options available for subscription. The app will not work if you use a VPN service on your phone. Not happy about it but that’s the way it is with a lot of security cam apps. I read the lights are only good for 10 years and are not replaceable. I got it to keep an eye on my animals at night.
