Not practical, bad design

I see three major issues with this design compared with previous versions:
1. No pen holder. It's fine that it charges on the side, but having a place to store it within the case gives the user a bigger disadvantage: where to store it so it won't get lost.
2. You can only set the case in one angle, and it's not the best. Expect neck pain in an hour or so.
3. Half of the keyboard is behind the table, and the actual keys are in the other half, which makes it very small. If you don't want to use the keyboard and you want to fold it to the back, it won't work as a stand.

absolute garbage of an update

The update to the case is absolute garbage. The keys on the Tab S8 case used to be tactile. Now they are like mashing pudding. They also amazingly got rid of the pen storage area, Which no one asked them to do. I am thinking of returning my tab S11 and either keeping my tab S8 or getting a tab S10 FE because they both have much better keyboard cases.

I love this book cover keyboard. It makes my Tab S11 more like a laptop in DeX mode. The stylus attaches to the side of the tablet so it is out of of the way. Although I love my laptop, it is a bit heavy for me to bring along when I travel. This cover makes my tablet a perfect travel companion because it is so much lighter than my laptop.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Poor magnet quality for high price

Just bought the s11 and case to go with it just to find that the tablet is probably going to fall out within the first few days of use. The magnets that hold the tablet in are MUCH weaker than older models. I had the s7FE before this and the magnets could hold the lid shut when allowed to free hang, the s11 case opens incredibly easy

Drains battery completely over night

I'll cut to the chase, this case completely drains the battery of my tab s11 overnight, even if I turn the tablet off. There's something critically wrong with the case or maybe the tablet itself. Besides that, I do like the case. The keys feel good, but I wish there was a back light. I can still use it for the keyboard, but I can't store the tablet inside of it because it will die by the next day. I'm glad I got it 50% off.
