Compact Amazing Sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to set up turned my film viewing experience into a whole different realm. Seriously this thing sounds so great watching your favorite films and I connected the Bluetooth to my phone. Listen to some of my music through it And it sounds like a gigantic freaking stereo system. Excuse my language, but it is incredible for such a small unit. It really pumps out the sound Low’s the mids and the high’s simply incredible.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Surprise, surprise, surprise….

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, a couple days ago I received a JBL Bar 300 MK2. It came well packaged without any damage at all. Needless to say, I immediately opened my newest jewel (see video) and hooked it up to my main entertainment system. Truth be told, I have always used a full-blown surround system, so I was somewhat skeptical of a sound bar.
The setup was quick and easy and within two minutes I was up and running. At first, the sound was good and clear with a nice tight crispness to it, but seriously lacking in any kind of bottom end.
So, being experienced with sound systems and the importance of proper speaker placement for both imaging and bass response and noting that I had the unit close to the rear wall, I moved the system from the back of the shelf to the front… a distance of about seventeen inches from the wall (previously it was six inches away)… the difference was staggering! Nice tight bottom end (not subwoofer level but quite impressive nonetheless) and the balance between the highs and lows seemed pretty even across the soundstage. Sounds great on normal TV as well as with movies.. I’m sold…ha! The DOLBY ATMOS is definitely a plus as well.
However, I was not as impressed with the high end on blue tooth streaming. The bottom was fine but the high end seemed to be lacking somewhat ( NOTE… I am not a fan of music streaming in the first place… also did not try any options from my phone setup to possibly compensate tonality).
As I grow older, my hearing isn’t as good as it once was. Even with a complete surround rig, I have trouble hearing low level voice conversations without really cranking the center channel and/or the whole system (Not to mention I am tired of replacing windows due to SPL settings😎).
This was not a problem with the MK2! The voicing is incredible!
One other issue I am running into at the moment is the fact that my current sub is not blue tooth so as of this writing,it is not connected… sigh. I am sure I will figure something out…
But…. my wife is smiling….she HATES the sub.
This is a pretty cool piece of technology that can be used with great enjoyment. It has plenty of clean amplifier power as well ( my wife is NOT smiling)!

Big power in a small package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll be very candid, I went into this soundbar with not very high expectations. Something that would be louder than the stock speakers on my tv would’ve sufficed. But I was so surprised at the level of quality, crispness and punch that this thing packs.
I have mine set up in a roughly 12”x10” room. The power it packs (450w max output) is definitely felt. The Dolby atoms gave one of the best 3D audio experiences I’ve heard from a soundbar. This truly blew me away because I usually expect this level of audio from a more expensive, theater level system. Highly recommend the JBL bar 300MK2 for your tv set ups.

Great start to home theater!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A Soundbar is the new minimum requirement for an immersive entertainment experience. To choose one can be akin to car shopping. Many choices, many price ranges, mileage may vary. Somewhere in the middle of the road is a product that delivers high performance at an affordable price. The JBL Bar 300MK2 is that product. I had decided this was the perfect enhancement to gaming and movie watching in a smaller space living area. This bar delivers crystal clear audio, voice and spatial projection. The depth of the bass is good, although I’d plan on adding a sub at some point to really drive it home. Setting up the soundbar can be done in just a few minutes and as a nice bonus JBL even provides some mounting hardware if needed.
With Bluetooth connectivity I can enjoy music while not having the TV on. Whether you’re looking at beginning a home theater setup to build on or just want to get more of an immersive experience the JBL Bar 300MK2 is well worth a listen.

Easy to install and sounds good!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice little soundbar. One piece, all contained, with remote - "plug and play". It easily plugged into my smart TV and immediately connected. Almost didn't need instructions. Super easy. It is very basic, the sound is well balanced. I've used it for music and tv/movie listening. I'm using it in my master bedroom which is about 200 SF and it's just perfect. I can turn up the music and hear it adequately pretty much everywhere in my 2000 sf home. (It also connected to my tv remote so don't really need the remote that came with it.) Came well packed and not damaged. As a very low tech person I appreciate the ease of installation and operation!!

Great size and design with powerful sound

Any genre, at any volume...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As I'm writing this review I'm listening to the the JBL Bar 300MK2 at a fairly loud clip. The musical genre is southern rock with a heavy dose of Duane Allman slide guitar. Clarity on each screaming note is phenomenal and the bottom end is just as impressive. This is your Soundbar...BAR NONE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Compact speaker without the bulky subwoofer that delivers an amazing 360 sound quality without sacrificing space. Perfect for sliding right under all tv and when using True Tone it’s perfectly tuned to the area and environment around the room.
