I switched from having an Denon amplifier, 10" sub, 2 Energy tower speakers, Sony middle and surround speakers. Was worried about losing the performance for a space saving soundbar to fit with the new entertainment unit. This JBL 500MK pumps. Great sound. great bass. Only thing I'm missing is the true, head turning surround sound because you think someone is in the room behind you. I figured losing the true surround sound would happen moving to a centrally located speaker. It does give you some sound depth, but nothing like speakers behind you.
I would recommend this to a friend!
