Great Case - Bonus Perk

I know that the unit doesn't say it's waterproof (unless I missed it somewhere), but the other day I was working on my Tablet in the backyard and I got distracted with something and forgot the Tablet on the BBQ overnight. It rained all night and when I returned in the morning to find my Tablet it was still on the BBQ with about 1/2" of water floating on top of the screen; I quickly shook of the water, crossed my fingers and took it out of sleep mode. To my surprise the welcome screen popped right up with no problems whatsoever to the Tablet. It has now been over a week since this happened and it still hasn't shown any signs of a problem. I didn't even take off the cover to let it dry because all of the water was trapped on the screen protector and had never seeped through. Great case, would highly recommend it to anyone. The case saved my Tablet. Thanks again.

The 12.2 defender case offers great protection for your tablet. It would be great if Otterbox would build wireless charging into their covers as this cover adds an additional depth to access the USB 3 charge point. You might find that the back key suffers from the odd double tap requirement. But I'm sure that the peace of mind that the protection gives you, will un-doubtedly make up for the occassional delay.

Great Protection

Well my Galaxy note pro just survived an 8 foot fall onto a concrete floor thanks to otterbox. The only thing I don't like about the case is that if the screen protector has any kind of finger prints on it, the s pen has trouble sliding on the screen.

Very good product. I am very satisfied with the product. I purchased one for my Tablet and mobile phone. The protective cases has performed to my greatest satisfaction.

My favorite thing about my OtterBox (es) but this one in particular is it went up against my F150 and the F150 lost. Yes I left it on the tool box and it slid off into the drive way, and since I did not know I backed up to get something out of the garage and low and behold there under my truck wish my two week old Galaxy Tablet Note 12!!! Well after the shock and tears and rolling on the ground (yes rolling) I went through the motion of using most of my apps and the tears turn to smiles not 1 I repeat no 1 scratch, dent, crack on internal damage what so ever, can say the same for Big Red (F150), you you make Otterbox for trucks, lol? You guys deserve a SALUTE and that is from a Veteran. I cant thank you enough for outstanding products and customer service!!!

The Tab 12.2 is a lightweight device. This case adds considerable bulk to the tablet, making it weigh at least 5 times more. I'll take the trade off to provide a good quality protective case, but be warned, it seriously bulks it up.
