[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have not been able to use it yet. It has not worked since being installed. The service tech has been here 3 times so far. Had to order a new circuit board/panel. That didn’t fix it. Now waiting on a whole new replacement. So at this point I have no review of usage. I’m not happy to not have it working after four months into my warranty. I am hoping to hear something from customer service to remedy this situation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice microwave oven as well as doing many other things. Works well, looks good and does a great job. Very easy to use and understand controls. However, I wish there were a couple of things it did do. One, it needs to have a mode when you can turn off the display for cleaning. Trying to clean fingerprints off the screen is hard when you are accidentally pushing the buttons. Second, the display does not stay on. We wanted the clock to stay on, but it won't. It times out after a few minutes and the display turns dark. You should have an option of whether you want it on all the time or to go off. Unfortunately, it just goes off
Hi, we just ordered and installed the kmbs730sps microwave/ convection, to match our similar oven and cook top. It looks nice, fancy, modern and a good replacement, how ever two things 1) Why have a clock if it does not stay on, this is ridiculous. power saving, come on. It looks like the unit isn’t working until you open or turn knob, there should be a setting to turn it off or on. Let me make the choice if I want it on or not. 2) Do you have Microwave heating up issues? Well if you try and shut door quietly, it may not close enough to fully engage the tabs all the way, convection will work, light and table will turn, no heat. You have to shut tightly to get the “click” so heating element will activate. Not really an adjustment or fix for this, you just have to close it hard they say. I added small thin rubber fisheye type to corners for fix. All this and I’ve had it a week with one technician visit. I hope this helps someone with similar issues. 3) Also if you have a gap, you can get 1,2,3 inch close out panels with double back tape that will close out fine, not the best but good option.
This "microwave" hasn't worked since the time it was installed. The microwave setting only heats food half the time, despite 3 "repairs" from technicians. The controls are cumbersome. "with Air Fry" in the title is extremely misleading; the appliance does not come with an air fry basket/crisper, so it's really just a convection oven that works up to 425deg, but using it as an air fryer would completely destroy the interior of the appliance. KitchenAid/Whirpool have been unhelpful in resolving the issues.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Microwave part is pretty easy to use. Wish there was an owner manual that explains how to use it to the extent that it is designed for.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this to replace a 2010ish Kitchenaid microwave/convection oven. Size is a little smaller, creating a gap to be filled (OK, can do that). You open the oven, put a dish in and press the quick start and it says please open the door and add your dish???? The old oven was our kitchen clock, but as noted by other people, you cannot keep the time displayed. And finally, why promise a free crisper for registration when in fact it never gets offered. Microwave works OK, but the logic on the touchscreen is very flawed. Picking an option for anything other than quickstart is a pain. Please provide a software update!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do love it but there are a few things that I am not so happy with. The time does not stay on the screen, it turns off. Also it said we would get a crisper basket when registering our microwave but never received an email or anything for this crisper basket. So disappointed about that. Happy with the way it works is working great!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was trying to replace my unit from 2013. The new model is very different. The shiny interior makes it easier to clean. I preferred the menue buttons rather than the control knobs. Is there a way to keep the time showing? There was no users manual included. I am guessing the best methods to cook things??? Timer sounds are too soft.
