[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this newest model microwave for a month now and find it more cumbersome to use than the previous one. For example, instead of simply pressing buttons, you scroll through functions to get the settings you need. Also, the display is dark (no time/date shown) until the microwave is activated. And the volume of the signal when cooking is finished is very low and almost impossible to hear if you are in another room. Finally the plastic trim surrounding the glass window, both inside and outside, was sloppily installed. Not what you would expect from KitchenAid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
