There really should be a second slider below the flash slider (or just somewhere else on the camera) that switches between the standard vintage and B&W filters (which should be preloaded) a 4th spot on the slider for a custom filter would be good too. Anything more, and it would probably start to feel more complicated than it's supposed to be, though. Otherwise it's great!
Only real complaint is that the picture count indicator LED is too bright and should be maybe 30-50% dimmer.
So far, really like it. I wish there was a handle strap so my kids don’t accidentally drop in the lake or pool. Really fun seeing the photos like the old days. Teaching kids about lighting and how to hold the camera steady since the photos aren’t live, they might be blurry. I love it! Can’t decide if I like the retro or B/W better. Planning to send with my 11 year old daughter to camp this year. One issue I do have is sometimes the camera doesn’t pop up on my MacBook computer when I plug it in. I found that you just have to unplug and replug until it registers, which is sort of annoying since you have to turn camera back on every time. That’s the only thing that stopped this from being 5 stars. Overall I recommend!!
I love this little camera! Taken it on two trips away and at a family BBQ. Was fun to give it to the kids and teach them how “old photos” used to be taken. After they got over the fact there wasn’t a screen and you couldn’t view your picture, they ran around taking pictures of everything and everyone and we ended up with beautiful, priceless photos that you just wouldn’t get from a phone. I love it. I’m obsessed with it. And I now take it everywhere.
This camera brings me back to childhood. I grew up with disposables and digital cameras so this was the perfect combo. Recently went to a music festival and took lots of pictures but because I couldn’t see them right away I felt so in the moment. Only thing I wish it had was a wrist band (my friend dropped it several times :joy:)
