Overall this is an amazing little product. The picture quality is solid for what you pay and it definitely has that film graininess, although nothing beats actual film. The downloadable filters are nice but I wish there was a more convenient way to switch between them. It’s super easy to plug into my phone and immediately download the photos I want. Very easy controls, anyone can learn to use this.
It could be better though. There needs to be a battery LED indicator, seriously. The screen on the back showing shot count, time, etc. is smaller than the original and less legible in sunlight; make a bigger screen on next model. I also don’t know why there can’t be a separate on/off button? Several times I’ve tried to hold down the shutter button to turn it off and I accidentally take a photo instead. Frustrating. This thing is better than the 101 I would say but it could still be better with some minor QOL changes. I would buy a newer model if it came out.
The camera is honestly cheap for what it gives you. It doesn’t take the best portrait shots but the photos I’ve taken in nature have turned out STELLAR. The camera came with a cord that makes it easy to get the photos on to your phone (charge it also), and an SD card. So immediately after it delivers you’re able to just turn it on and start snapping. I honestly love this camera and I’m looking forward to taking it with me on my adventures. A little unrelated but I’d also like to add; people make comments saying “why get a camera when you can use your phone?” Guys. There’s so much beauty in using a simple camera like this one. There’s no screen to distract you and you can continue living in the moment while capturing it. So if you’re indecisive on buying it, just do it. You won’t regret it. It’s a game changer
