Received a rare faulty camera.

So I have two of the first versions of this camera and our family loved them minus the lack of date setting on the camera. I purchased a new one and received a faulty unit where the lcd screen didn't work correctly. Campsnap was very fast in responding and I'm waiting on the replacement. That's the only reason my review isn't a 5 star currently.

The camera works great! Easy to use. Great battery life. Takes very good photos. My toddler has quickly learned how to use it and taken some great photos!
The only improvement that I would like to see is the ability to quickly switch between filters. If there was a button to do that, it would be awesome.

This camera is exactly what we hoped for : no screen = staying in the present moment. Learning the distance needed from the subject to get a focused shot takes a bit of experimentation but the picture quality is good and again, the concept is wonderful.

Excellent camera, service and support. I’ve had the campsnap for sometime now and its a great camera to have with you always - that’s its simple and lightweight is just a bonus.
When I did have an issue, contacting their support team was a faultless service - they were very quick to respond, offered simple steps to investigate further and my issue was resolved with the minimum of fuss…. Camera now back and working and always by my side.

Amazingly fun. I especially enjoy the ability to make my own filters.
I have created about a dozen at this point based on my favorite types from the past as well some that simulate the master photographers of the past.
This ability and the point and click nature of the Camp Snap let me just shoot for fun and not worry about perfection.
