[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently started using Photoshop Elements 2026 and I really like it. It’s easy to use but still has powerful tools that make photos look great. The new AI features are fun and save a lot of time when fixing or changing backgrounds. It feels smooth and creative, not complicated. Overall it’s a solid update and perfect for anyone who likes editing photos for fun.

Perfect for Novices and Pros Alike!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to install! Easy to use, most things are intuitive. There’s a lot of suggestions on the application itself, as well as many guides to follow for which things you actually want to change about any given image. I can use it just fine on my gaming laptop. You can easily upload pictures from your phone to the application with a quick QR scan! My dog, Cody, has recently had eye surgery and I decided to use him as an example! It was super simple and easy for me to remove the tear stain from his eye with photoshop!

Cool and useful once I got it downloaded

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Influenster forces mobile app use but this was a desktop software and I spent hours trying to find it in my account. I finally clicked on "trial" and then it said I already owned it. So then I was able to download it. The first time I used it, I couldn't figure it out and there weren't any help buttons. So I googled how to use it and read about the guided edits, which is very useful and easy to use. It's a little clunky to use but the edits work good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i’m not really experienced with Photoshop or any of this type of program, but this came in clutch when I needed to show sidewalk panel panels that needed to be installed so I was able to just Photoshop them in as shown in the pictures

Great streamlined editing for beginners

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Photoshop Elements 2026 is a solid package for anyone looking to dip their toes into photo editing, and they don't have any experience whatsoever with advanced software packages like Adobe's own Photoshop or other photo editing apps. From my use over the past few months, I was able to get really familiar with it, and have a bit to say. I have photos attached to this review of both in-use of the software, as well as some outputs of photos that I edited in Elements. I used it to alter some drone shots to make some untraditional color-bursting shoots.
As a preface, this is a very light photo editing tool. If you're looking for advanced manipulation of photos, that would require something like Adobe's Photoshop platform, rather than Photoshop Elements.
First, the good. Like I said, it's great for a beginner, as it holds your hand througout the entire process, as well as keeps the layout simple and clean for easy-to-access tooling. At any point, it's easy to understand exactly what you're doing. For example, the toolbin on the left hand side shows you videos of how the tools are used if you hover over them for long enough. The bottom right shows a basic workflow menu that lets you use adjustments, effects, quick fixes to photos, frames, and more to get your photos how you want them.
Another great thing is how easy it is to work with mutliple files. In other software, it usually requires tabs with file names that are hard to know, especially if you're working on an entire collection of photos. This takes more of an approach to Adobe's other software called Lightroom, where it provides you with a "Photo Bin" that you can click into and visually see what other photos you have lined up to edit.
I think the biggest feature though is defintiely the "auto" tooling. Things like selecting subjects automatically, removing backgrounds, and removal tools. It's really fun. For example, the removal tool lets you literally draw around a subject you don't want in the photo, be it a person or an object. Then, like magic, the object disappears and gets removed. And it looks GREAT! It's probably the coolest part of this entire package, the feature is extremely easy to use and can really help you get some nice shots.
I think the biggest thing I'm not a fan of is how unintuitive it is to get rolling in the software itself. Instead of being able to launch the photo or video editor right away from your Start Menu in Windows, you get prompted with a "before you launch" menu that shows you what is capable with the software. I usually follow tutorials online, so this seems a bit redundant to a power-user like myself. I can see the appeal though for extremely new beginners just looking to get a foothold in this software, not knowing where to start at all.
Another thing I don't like is that I couldn't find any information on a truly "in-depth" editing or similar mode. There's an advanced tab which helps, but it's not as deep as I was hoping. I feel like it really holds your hand in the process, making it hard to edit to create really unique shots. I'd really only reccomend this software if you're new to the world of photo editing.
Other than these gripes though, it's a solid choice for those looking to get right into Adobe's suite of software. It provides a good base to jump off of for photo editing, and is useful for those who just want to focus on editing pictures quickly.
