Peace of mind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just set up the Google Nest Cam (Indoor, Wired) 2K, and wow, I'm genuinely impressed for a first-time user of a smart home camera.
The setup was incredibly easy—it practically guided me through the whole process in the Google Home app. Within minutes, the camera was plugged in and streaming.
The 2K image quality is fantastic. The clarity, even when zoomed in, is sharp, and the night vision is clear enough to easily make out details in a completely dark room. The wide field of view covers my entire living space, which is exactly what I needed.
My favorite feature is the familiar faces recognition (with the optional subscription). It quickly learned who lives here and now only alerts me when it sees a stranger, which drastically cuts down on unnecessary notifications.
If I had one minor nitpick, it's that the power cord could be a little longer for more flexible placement options.
Overall: A great experience right out of the box. It offers peace of mind with high-quality video and smart features that are actually useful. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a simple yet powerful indoor security camera.

Google Nest Cam Indoor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a solid indoor security camera that delivers clear 1080p video and easy to use live feed . Great for checking in on pets or packages. On the downside many useful features like longer videos history or advanced alerts only work if you pay for a subscription, which makes it feel incomplete on its own.

Great video for small camera!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received from Influenster for my real review. Very heavy and sturdy little camera. Super easy to install. I have it facing right out my window. I like to know what’s going on around my house. I definitely am interested in getting 2 more of these cameras. Clear video, works very well. Definitely recommend trying the nest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Google Nest Cam Indoor blends sleek design with effortless setup. Nice packaging and the actual camera feels really substantial yet still small. Pros: Crisp 2K HDR video. Excellent night vision. Clear two-way audio. The Google Nest Cam Indoor is sleek and reliable. Con: full features require a subscription. Location is limited due to length of the power cord.

Great indoor camera
on December 12, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Google products. The build is sturdy. The camera quality is awesome. And the best part is the seamless integration with my already existing Google Home network. Once you have everything configured, the notifications are useful and I like the automations you can set up. You can even talk to someone through the camera if you need to (like if you’re at the grocery and you ask your kid what cereal they want). The audio is clear. Great product. I’ll be adding more cameras to my network.

Reliable indoor camera with easy setup
on December 13, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera itself is well-built, and the video quality is clear enough for everyday indoor monitoring.
Setup was quick and straightforward , connecting the camera took just a minute and everything paired smoothly. The app runs stable, with no glitches or connection issues so far, which is a big plus.
I haven’t really explored the AI features in depth yet, but for basic use, everything works as expected. No complaints or noticeable issues during regular use.
Overall, this is a reliable indoor camera that does its job well. It’s easy to set up, works consistently, and feels like a dependable option if you want simple home monitoring without hassle.

Great resolution and performance, but no local sto

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have mixed feelings about this Google Nest Cam. In terms of performance, its 2K high resolution is great and crystal clear. Its night vision is fine too. The design is simple yet modern and attractive. The most annoying aspect of this camera is zero local storage ability. You must have internet and Google Account for online cloud storage. There is no place for a SD card. If only they made a dual storage capability, that would be a huge upgrade. Subscription is required for full functionality. If you frequently have connectivity issues, consistency may be a big problem.

Love the Added Security
on December 17, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are a few things I love about this camera. First, it connects with the Google Home app so it’s in the same place as my other Google devices. Also, I love that you can set it to only turn on when it senses that nobody is home, and also only send notifications when it senses movement during a time that nobody is home. So far it seems to be pretty accurate at sending those things. I also appreciate that it comes with hardware to mount it to the wall or ceiling. I intend to just leave it on the kitchen counter because from there it can see the whole living/kitchen/dining area of our home, but it’s nice that it is versatile.
The setup/installation didn’t work correctly the first time and I’m not sure why, but I deleted the device and started over and the second time it worked great and was super easy. Overall, feeling good about the added security.
