[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great products, I have used stuck with only using Samsung M.2 SSD Drives due to their top speed performance on most models and compatibility! They have a great range of capacities for just about any need. They have all been super reliable and the interface has worked across multiple platforms!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a huge Google take out project involving many years of photographs on my Google photos albums. Over the years, some of the photos or duplicated from backup hard drives being made connected to Google Photos
I'm using this 8 terabyte drive to help download 52 zip files of my entire Google photos including videos. The drive has been a huge success at holding all of these files. During the process, python script help me remove duplicate photos into a temporary garbage folder 1/2 the size of the unzip folder.
This hard drive is compatible with my Microsoft Windows pro.
It definitely can handle the huge task at hand it has been very reliable.
Before I delete my garbage folder I have the task of spot checking some of the duplicates before having Google's API assist with labeling each folder before reuploading to Google Photos.
I am really thankful for this external SSD. This whole process has been over 48 hours. File swapping and running around 98% on the performance tab. Definitely, Very reliable.
I will definitely be purchasing a 2nd in the near future for other photo and video projects
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work in the CNC industry and have to use SolidWorks in my laptop alot. With the data being as big as it is and the program taking up so much storage, I'm content with the performance the drive offers on storage, loading, and data transfer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how efficient it is and plenty of performance with the capacity it has easy to handle and great price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is hands down the fastest SSD I've ever installed. If you need massive storage in a single slot without sacrificing Gen5 speeds, this is the one to get. The Good: Speed is Real: I'm consistently hitting near the advertised 14,800 MB/s read speeds. Large video files and game loading times are instant. Massive 8TB: It is incredibly rare to find 8TB in an M.2 form factor that performs this well. It holds my entire steam library and work archive with room to spare. Stable: unlike some other Gen5 drives I've tried, this one doesn't throttle easily during large file transfers, likely thanks to the 8GB DRAM cache. The Bad: Runs Hot: You must use a heatsink (either the version with one included or your motherboard's thermal armor). Do not run this drive bare. Price: It is an investment, but for the "best of the best" specs, it delivers. Verdict: If you are a content creator or enthusiast building a top-tier PC, this is the ultimate "buy it and forget it" storage solution. Highly recommended!
