Great low-maintenance camera

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Arlo Essential XL 3rd Gen for a while now, and it’s been really solid. The battery life is amazing — I barely ever have to recharge it. The video quality is sharp during the day, and the color night vision actually works surprisingly well. Setup was super easy with no wiring, just Wi-Fi and the app. The motion alerts are reliable. The two-way audio sounds clear enough for quick chats. My only real gripe is that most of the good functions require a subscription. You can technically use it without one, but you lose a lot of the good stuff like cloud storage and smart detection. It feels like they really want you on the paid plan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Arlo outdoor camera has excellent video quality (even at night), and the wireless setup was super simple. I like the smart motion alerts (including an alarm to scare off intruders) and weatherproof design. Battery life is decent, but frequent motion can drain it faster. Motion alerts are helpful, though there’s sometimes a small delay. Just know that you’ll need a subscription to unlock all the features. Overall, a solid choice for home security.

Durable security camera!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this camera was really nice. My favorite feature is the motion detection. The video quality is good and it held up well during a hard downpour that actually knocked over a heavy planter in the same vicinity. In comparing it to other brands of cameras we’ve owned, I think it is on par with competitors in terms of quality and features. My only gripe is the extra cost to get all of the features on the app but other than that I’d recommend this camera and it’s easy to set up and use!

Easy to mount and many great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Arlo Essential XL Outdoor Security Camera, and I’m so impressed! It took me literally 3 minutes to mount — super quick and easy. No messy wires at all, since it runs on a rechargeable battery that you simply charge via USB.
It pairs with your phone through the Arlo Secure app, where you get motion and detection alerts in real time. I also love that it has a built-in siren, color night vision, two-way audio, and even a camera spotlight — all the features you could ask for in one device.
Now I feel so much calmer knowing I can see everything happening around my house throughout the day and night, right from my phone. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a reliable and easy-to-use security camera!

I’ve already ordered more for other views of our yard! The app is easy to use, simple to charge, clear view in day and night. It’s so heavy duty in any environment- rain or shine. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Arlo Security Camera gets 5 stars from me! The video quality is superb in the daytime as well as night time. Installation was a breeze and took maybe 5 minutes for set up and installation. It is an outdoor camera, so it is weather resistant. You charge the device via USB cord before installing, and the battery is still going strong almost a month later! This is a very high quality product. The feed section within the app gives you notifications and provides an AI description of what took place. I highly recommend this camera.
