[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got to try the Philips Norelco Head Shaver Pro 7000, and I’m honestly impressed with how much it has simplified my routine. The design feels really natural in my hand, so it’s comfortable to use and doesn’t feel awkward even when I’m shaving the back of my head. The 5D pivoting blades adjust to every curve, which helps me get an even, close shave without nicks or irritation.
What I really like is the versatility—it works both wet and dry. Some days I’ll just do a quick dry shave when I’m in a rush, and other times I’ll use it with shaving cream for a smoother, more polished look. Either way, it leaves my head feeling clean and fresh. Cleanup is easy too—just rinse under water and it’s good to go.
Overall, it’s a great investment if you want a professional-looking shave at home without the hassle. For me, it’s been reliable, convenient, and way less time-consuming than traditional razors. Definitely a win in my book!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This head shaver is almost perfect. It is quiet, easy to use, and powerful enough to handle a few days growth. It comes with a great travel case that is big enough for everything but the cleaning cup. The only complaint I have is that it struggles at the detail work such as around the ears.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Norelco HeadPro is an awesome option for anyone who prefers keeping their head clean-shaven without the hassle of razors. Very lightweight and fits comfortably in your hand. The pivoting and flexing blades do a nice job of following the natural shape of your head. It’s cordless, rechargeable, and can be used wet or dry. Battery life is decent with a few shaves between charges. Overall very nice for a fast shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a good experience with the new electric shaver, which provided a nice, clean shave, but I needed to prep my head first. Ideally, I shave weekly, but I got busy and missed a few sessions. The first time I used it, I realized my hair needed to be pre-shaved to about 2mm, which is fine since my current electric razor also struggles with longer hair. I trimmed down to a zero setting with my old razor, then used the new shaver, and it performed as well as, if not better than, a razor blade. However, after three days, when I used the new shaver again, it tugged a bit—not painfully like a cut, but noticeably. My hair doesn’t grow that fast (or so I thought), but I had to prep again. For best results, daily use is ideal, and overall, it’s a great machine.

Honestly super happy with this shaver! It gets a very close shave and I am very impressed with the feel of the device. I charged the shaver upon receiving it and it’s still not had to be recharged yet. I keep it in the car to get a fresh cut before going into to work so it’s definitely versatile. Overall super nice shaver and I would recommend to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Search for the Perfect Head Shave is Finally Over As someone who has been shaving their head for the better part of a decade, I've been on a perpetual quest for the perfect shaver. I've tried everything from traditional razors to clippers to a whole host of electric shavers, each with its own set of pros and cons. After a few weeks with the Philips Head Shaver Pro 7000 Series (HS7980/40), I can confidently say my search is over. This device is a masterclass in engineering, blending technical prowess with user-friendly design to deliver an unparalleled head-shaving experience. The Shaving Technology: Close, Comfortable, and Comprehensive The heart of any shaver is its cutting system, and this is where the 7000 series truly shines. The most prominent feature is the set of 360° pivoting heads. This isn't just marketing speak; you can feel the difference immediately. The heads flex and pivot with incredible agility, maintaining constant contact with my scalp. Whether I'm going over the dome of my head or navigating the tricky area behind my ears, the shaver hugs every contour, leaving no patch of hair behind. The blades themselves are what Philips calls ComfortCut blades. Paired with protective caps, they are designed to cut hair just above skin level, and the result is a remarkably smooth shave without any of the irritation, nicks, or pulling I’ve experienced with other models. The dual track precision blades ensure that both long and short hairs are captured in a single pass, which significantly cuts down on my shaving time. Performance and Practicality: Wet, Dry, and Always Ready One of my absolute must-have features is the ability to shave in the shower. The 7000 series is 100% waterproof, making it perfect for both wet and dry use. A dry shave is quick and convenient when I'm short on time, but my preferred method is a wet shave with a bit of gel. The shaver glides effortlessly, and the warm water makes the experience incredibly comfortable. Clean-up is just as seamless. The shaver head pops open with a one-touch open button, allowing me to rinse it clean under the tap in seconds. The battery life is another standout feature. It's powered by a robust Li-ion battery that delivers 90 minutes of cordless shaving from a single 1-hour charge. For me, that translates to weeks of shaves before I even have to think about plugging it in. For those moments when I inevitably forget, the 5-minute quick charge feature provides enough power for one full shave, which has been a lifesaver. I also appreciate the modern convenience of the included USB-A charging cable, which means I don't have to carry around a proprietary power brick, especially when traveling. Design and Accessories From an ergonomic standpoint, the shaver is a pleasure to hold. The handle is intuitively shaped, providing a secure and comfortable grip that makes maneuvering it around my head feel natural and controlled. Philips also included some thoughtful accessories. The included travel pouch is sturdy and well-made, making it easy to pack the shaver and its cable for trips without worrying about damage. The Final Verdict The Philips Head Shaver Pro 7000 is, without a doubt, the best head shaver I have ever used. It combines a technically advanced cutting system that delivers a close and irritation-free shave with the practical features that matter most: excellent battery life, full waterproofing, and an easy cleaning process. If you are serious about maintaining a clean-shaven head, this shaver is a phenomenal investment that delivers professional-grade results with everyday convenience.
