[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy that I purchased this product because it is fast and easy to use. I'm 83 years old and can do my complete head in about 3 minutes max.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this head shaver five stars because of how well it works in shaving the skull. Very close shaves every time with no drawbacks. Virtually as close as a blade with none of the drawbacks of shaving with a blade.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to use a 3 blade electric Phillips Norelco shaver that is 40+ years old then I saw the 4 blade Phillips Norelco skull shaver and what a difference. Half the time and a cleaner shave with the added feature it's a wet dry skull shaver.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It does a good job and is comfortable on the head.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not Perfect, But Still The Head Shaver To Beat!

This head shaver is one that gets better as you use it. I've never experienced that before, and I've owned more than one electric shaver. It initially struggled on the back of my head (extremely thick), but now it doesn't struggle back there at all. It's even gotten better at catching some of the flat-laying hairs I have on the sides of my head.
I also dealt with some serious razor burn in the beginning, and was in agony rinsing off in the shower. Most electric shaver manufacturers claim there's an adjustment period, and the irritation goes away. That wasn't true in my previous experiences. However, the Philips shaver is different, and now irritation is minimal to non-existent.
The USB-C to proprietary cable is a welcome change. I hate having to plug everything into my bedside outlet. I just wish Philips, along with other brands, would switch to putting USB ports on the machines themselves.
All that being said, this isn't a perfect shaver. The build quality leaves something to be desired. And the heads gets clogged rather quickly. It's much like a cartridge razor, in that regard. I shave in sections and have to stop after completing each one, to rinse it out. The way I do this is; keep the machine running, hold it under the faucet, let gravity drain most of the water out, and then give it a gentle shake. A small annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless.
The quality is there, though the performance is not there, the Pitbull does a better job on the grooming. This model has issues with the corners specially ear zones; but regarding the battery and toughness is A+; and a lot better than Pitbull.
