[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent Razor. Nice smooth shave. Easy to hold and operate. Easy to take apart and clean when necessary.
The build quality of this shaver is really nice and I appreciate the travel function however the blades seem to dull very quickly. The first few shaves went wonderfully but it slowly went downhill from there. It is now at a point, 2 months into owning the product, that I am looking at alternative options. Replacement heads for the shaver is also not available so no options with resolving the issue that way.

This head shaver is one that gets better as you use it. I've never experienced that before, and I've owned more than one electric shaver. It initially struggled on the back of my head (extremely thick), but now it doesn't struggle back there at all. It's even gotten better at catching some of the flat-laying hairs I have on the sides of my head.
I also dealt with some serious razor burn in the beginning, and was in agony rinsing off in the shower. Most electric shaver manufacturers claim there's an adjustment period, and the irritation goes away. That wasn't true in my previous experiences. However, the Philips shaver is different, and now irritation is minimal to non-existent.
The USB-C to proprietary cable is a welcome change. I hate having to plug everything into my bedside outlet. I just wish Philips, along with other brands, would switch to putting USB ports on the machines themselves.
All that being said, this isn't a perfect shaver. The build quality leaves something to be desired. And the heads gets clogged rather quickly. It's much like a cartridge razor, in that regard. I shave in sections and have to stop after completing each one, to rinse it out. The way I do this is; keep the machine running, hold it under the faucet, let gravity drain most of the water out, and then give it a gentle shake. A small annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it works okay. It is a basic head shaver. It takes many passes to achieve a good cut. Still, will not get you even close to using a blade. Shaver is easy to use and holds a long charge. The design is good. For a basic everyday head shaver, it does the job.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to use a 3 blade electric Phillips Norelco shaver that is 40+ years old then I saw the 4 blade Phillips Norelco skull shaver and what a difference. Half the time and a cleaner shave with the added feature it's a wet dry skull shaver.
