Can only view cameras if on the SAME wifi

Quite interestingly, and after extensive testing, the only way to connect this camera to your wifi network is to make sure the device you are using the Lorex Connect app on is also connected to that wifi network. While this is not inherently an issue, the problem arises when you realize that you can only ever view the camera (both the live feed or the playback options) if you’re device is currently on that same network. What this means is that you can only use your security camera when you are literally in the same place as it. And all of the responses by Lorex claiming a “firmware” update will fix any issues are simply a jargon-filled way to make it look like they are doing something about this. So, in short, the camera works, the quality of the picture is surprisingly good, but you can only, ONLY use this camera if you are currently on the same wifi network as the camera is connected to.
TLDR: can’t view live feed or playback unless on the same wifi network rendering the point of a security camera void since you can only use it at home. Outstanding work Lorex, honestly. Utterly fantastic waste of money.

Wonderful. I wanted two cameras

I use Lorex on the outside of my house for security, but on the inside it is our infant crib cameras, this one is being used in the playroom so we can maneuver one should they play in different areas but keep a static view of the main play area. Lorex is the best, and I only use them. We even returned the fancy baby cameras and only use Lorex in bedrooms. They load fast, look clean, and the usb ability means I plug right into wall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought 2 of these for my house in Florida. I set them up and they worked great! I left the house to head home, got two hours away and both cameras are offline and I can not re start them. So I like the product, but my 1st experience could have been better. I will be back at the house in August I will re-set both and see if thing go better.
