This is a great backpack, many pockets and the water bottle pockets are very deep so it won’t fall out. I got this for a trip to Disney and it seems like it’ll be perfect, for the park plus going through the airport.

It is heavy, the water bottle sleeves are so high that it is hard to access the bottle/contents. I wish you made a light weight daypack with a good waterbottle sleeve and a few pockets and call it a day. You used to make them but stopped. I hike regularly but only for a couple hours and want a pack to be lightweight and with good basic storage, I am not alone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Only reason it’s not 5 is that we just received it and haven’t put it to use. It’s very sturdy but comfortable. My daughter loves all the different pockets to organize her school stuff and was able to ditch a couple of pouches she had holding things. Favorite feature is the extra tall water bottle pocket. Her water bottle kept falling out of the dinky one on her jansport. We plan on jazzing up the outside with some fun patches.

I bought this about a month ago to use as a diaper bag for my toddler. It's very slim even when packed full. I love the external pockets and have claimed those for my things (wallet, phone, earbuds, etc). It's the perfect size for a student or someone who needs a low profile backpack. It doesn't fit a ton of stuff, but I'm OK with that. It has double zippers on the pockets which was a MUST for me. The only thing I didn't know at purchase was how narrow the opening is for the laptop compartment. It doesn't unzip very far on either size- great for laptops, not great for use as a diaper bag. Lol

This bag is just the right size to handle everything a high schooler carries every day without being too bulky. It is also great for business travel with a laptop and tablet, with plenty of room for other necessities.
