The machine itself is pretty great- easy to use, easy to empty, and I like the reminders to clean parts.
But- and depending on the day this is a little or big issue- the sensor in the bottom tray that measures water in the drip tray is suuuuuper glitchy. Water gets into the little hole even when the tray is empty prompting “empty grounds” even when there are literally no grounds to empty- it’s just that little sensor. You can jiggle the water tray or slightly open and give it a puff and clear the water easily, but when I’m getting ready in the morning and have stepped away from the machine to do something like let the dogs out, it’s really aggravating to come back and see the machine failed to finish my Americano. And some days, it will do it EVERY SINGLE CUP.
De’Longhi, this is an issue that shouldn’t be happening. Seems like a slight design flaw.
It happens every darn day, so instead of a 5 star experience, that glitch drags it down to a 3.

Coffee Lovers Dream Machine

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a big fan of DeLonghi coffee machines and this one has blown my mind. Literally the only coffee machine you need as it makes everything. You have your choice between regular coffee, espresso, cappuccino, lattes, and more. Hot drinks, cold drinks, whatever mood you are in this will make you that perfect cup of coffee with just a press of a button. This even has an option for saved coffee settings so you can have your favorite coffee set and ready to go at anytime. This even cleans after you make your coffee and tells you when it’s time to empty the grinds. They definitely built the best coffee machine for me and my family. If you love coffee you need this machine!

Second De’Longhi

This is the second DeLonghi machine we have purchased. Our first automatic espresso was the Magnifica. It performed flawlessly for nine years. We decided to upgrade this year and went with the Revelia. We could not be happier with our decision. We consider going with a Breville, as we have other appliances of that brand. But after doing a lot of research and factoring in the nine years, our prior DeLonghi machine lasted we decided to stay with DeLonghi. And this brand does not disappoint The Revelia is even better than the Magnífica. The machine makes flawless, espresso, amazing cappuccinos, regular coffee, and perfect lattes. We’re a large family with individual taste, and this machine makes everyone happy. I love that it uses less beans but produces a perfect cup every time. It’s much quieter than our former machine and is easier to clean and maintain. it was well worth the price. Five stars would buy again.

I received this machine for Fathers Day and I love it. Before this machine I had another DeLonghi espresso machine that I really loved, but this "automatic" one is so much better. The design is so cool and minimalistic-looking. I love being able to choose from a variety of drinks. It makes better cappuccinos and lattes than I ever could before. Before purchasing this unit I prided myself of going through the barista process of doing it manually. I didn't know how I'd feel about having the machine do all the work. But I gotta tell you that thought went out the window as soon as I tasted the first cappuccino. This little machine is great. I read all of the reviews before before purchasing. In one, the reviewer said it took up too much space?! It is TINY compared to the 5 previous espresso machines I have owned. Another reviewer felt that the burr grinder was too loud. What?! It is much quieter than any grinder I've ever used. I recommend it whole-heartedly!

Amazing all-around coffee machine!

It has completely replaced my Nespresso Vertuo (also a DeLonghi) for my coffee drinks, though we are still using the pod machine for my husband’s iced lattes because of the lack of an iced double espresso setting on the Rivelia. I’m a little disappointed that the clearance for a cup under the is only 5.5” and the cups we use for iced drinks are 7”. The crema on an espresso shot isn’t as thick and creamy as I’m used to with my other machine.
The Rivelia is very easy to setup and use and the on-screen instructions guide you through everything. The bean adapt technology makes a huge impact on the taste of your coffee, allowing you to customize it to your liking. The machine alerts me to low water or beans, and that the grounds tray needs to be emptied. It does seem like the grounds tray alerts are more frequent than necessary as the tray usually isn’t remotely full. But it’s so lovely to be able to push a button and walk away, returning to a perfect coffee every time. Absolutely 100/10 recommend this machine!

First off, it’s quieter than I expected—when it grinds the beans, it’s surprisingly smooth and not loud at all. It’s also super quick, which I really appreciate in the mornings.
Setup was easy. The instructions literally walked me through everything step by step, and there’s even a little video that made it foolproof. It’s smartly designed, really intuitive, and I had no issues getting it going right out of the box.
The machine itself looks good—I got the white one, and even though it’s plastic, it has a sleek, high-end vibe to it. Definitely doesn’t feel cheap. You can tell the quality is there; everything feels solid and well-made.
One of my favorite things is being able to set up profiles. It remembers how I like my coffee, so making drinks is super easy. I haven’t tried the milk frother yet, but just the espresso side alone has been great.
All in all, good looking, good quality, easy to use, and quiet. Big fan so far!
