Perfect Add-On for the Spots the Main System Missed

After getting the wired system installed, I had one area near the back gate that just wasn’t worth the hassle of running more cables. Grabbed this wireless camera to cover it and honestly, it’s been a great little fix.
Didn’t expect much, but it set up easily and has held its own. The picture’s clear enough to see what’s going on and it blends in without drawing attention. Not something I’d rely on for full coverage, but for a spot the main system couldn’t reach, it’s done exactly what I needed.

Byer beware! Cameras go offline and miss events that matter.

When I first bought the cameras, they worked good. Always on-line, i could check each camera at any time from anywhere (Thank you Starlink.) But after about 6 month, and camera software updates, something changed. The cameras now go offline indiscriminately, for reason Swann cant explain. It is frustrating. They are now totally unreliable... a camera that is offline will turn come back on-line after an event but miss that event. I have spent hours on the phone with Swann, they cant fix it or are unwilling to. Eather way the worst investment ever. "Special note. I decided to bye Swann because the past cameras were reliable. The cameras i purchased in 2014 are still working, but are at the end of there life and technology is aging them out.
The just don't make them like they used to. "
