Anything from a pre work out massage to a night time relaxation. It's a strong vibration that works deep tissue. Comes with two heads. Would definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve owned a few massage guns over the years, and honestly… the Theragun Sense 2nd Generation is on a completely different level — especially compared to the basic vibration guns and even the first-gen models.
I work a lot on the computer, so my neck, shoulders, and even my hands get tight. This is the first massage gun where I can actually feel the difference right away. What makes the Sense special is that it doesn’t just vibrate — it uses real percussive therapy that goes deeper into the muscles but still feels controlled and gentle when you need it.
The newer 2nd Gen version is definitely more advanced. The LED screen gives you live pressure feedback, so you always know if you're applying too much or too little. You get 3 pressure levels, 5 speeds, and built-in guided routines right on the device — no guessing where to massage or for how long. The first generation didn’t have this smart feedback, and regular massage guns definitely don’t.
I also love the ergonomics. Theragun’s triangle grip is patented for a reason — it’s SO much easier to reach hard spots without twisting your wrist. And the motor is whisper-quiet now, a big upgrade from older models and cheaper guns that get loud or stall under pressure. This one keeps its power consistently, even when you press harder.
The two attachments it comes with are perfect for everyday use — the Dampener for sensitive areas and the Standard Ball for bigger muscles. Honestly, I use the Dampener on my hands all the time after typing all day, and it feels amazing.
What surprised me the most is how sensitive and adaptive it is. When the weather changes, I often feel tension in my muscles, and this thing gives instant relief. And the battery life is great — around two hours, so it’s always ready when I need it.
If you want something smart, quiet, and scientifically validated, the 2nd Generation Sense really stands out. I’ve tried a lot of massage guns, but this one is by far the most personalized and effective one I’ve used.

It’s so easy to use and the app walks you through different routines specific to your individual needs. It’s also simple enough to use without the app as well. I’ve been using at least twice a day and it’s added a lot of value for me! I’m so impressed by this powerful tool!

The patented triangular grip makes it incredibly easy to access tough spots without twisting or overreaching, which is huge for me. I also love that it works seamlessly with the Therabody app. I can swap in my favorite routines and access personalized recovery plans that actually make sense for my body and lifestyle. It literally tells you where to massage, how long, and how much pressure to use. With 5 speed levels, the highest level is so quiet that I can use it around anyone without complaints. This massage gun just replaced every other device I own because nothing compares to how lightweight, comfortable, and effortless this one is to use.
