Dedica Duo Does it Right

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dedica Duo is very easy to use and makes a great espresso. It's been a game changer and caused us to set up a whole coffee station in the house. You can alter the settings to meet your desired strength and make different types of drinks. Holds a good amount of water and heats very quickly. Haven't cleaned it yet but it seems like not too much of a hassle from the instructions.

This machine is easy to clean, and even easier to use and the water reservoir is a great size that's not too bulky.

Great for espresso, "cold brew" is more like iced

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was great for making espresso. It had the great creamy foam at the top and the instructions were super easy to follow once you started, though they looked confusing at first. The "cold brew" is more like iced coffee in its taste but comes out at room temperature so it doesn't melt the ice as fast as hot coffee. To get just hot water, like for tea, you use the brother which is a bit odd. If you are wanting something that does espresso and hot water for tea, this wouldn't be your best bet.

A Compact Powerhouse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the De’Longhi Dedica EC890 for a few weeks now, and it’s really elevated my morning coffee game. What drew me in first was the compact size—my kitchen has very limited counter space, so the slim footprint is perfect. It doesn’t just look good (the stainless steel finish is sleek and modern), it also performs surprisingly well for such a small machine.
It heats up quickly, and I’m able to pull a rich espresso shot in under a minute. The controls are simple and easy to use, and I like having the option to customize shot volume. The steam wand does a decent job frothing milk for cappuccinos or lattes, though I do wish it swiveled more freely—it can be awkward positioning the milk pitcher just right.
The only downside I’ve noticed is that the machine is very light. When I lock in the portafilter, I often need to hold the machine steady with my other hand so it doesn’t move. Still, that’s a minor issue considering everything else it offers.
Overall, the Dedica EC890 is a great fit for small spaces and delivers strong espresso with minimal fuss. I’m very happy with it.
