After owning several Logitech wheels over the years (G25,G27,G29) I upgraded to the RS50 after 10yrs on the G29. The RS50 is a game changer when coupled with the pro pedals. The fact you can upgrade or replace components at your pace is phenomenal.

I think this wheel goes beyond what you need as a starter and can hold you longer in your sim journey as you learn, compared to anything else on the console applicable market at this price range.
I do not like how hot it gets though. If it's advertised at 8nm, I want to use ALL 8nm. I'm a serious racer that competes in a league and I have 2-3h sessions.
I do not believe that the base should get so hot to the touch within 1h of playing time. I think that's reasonable to expect at this price point.

This wheel is perfect. 8nm is plenty for immersion and realism. Compares well with my friend’s Pro at half the price. Trueforce, as always, is a game changer vs the other brands.
