[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The wheel is such a solid product and that feels like an understatement. Now, this is my first DD wheel base but the leap from a belt driven wheel (like the G923) to a DD is nothing short of life changing. Not like it’ll change your whole life, but your driving life will never be the same. The wheel is built solid and feels firm, has many quality of life details, such as the removable wheel, different profiles, a ton Of adjustments, and at 8 NM of torque the driving fidelity is more than sufficient for any driver. A few cons, the leather can get pretty slippery and I imagine would wear out once you start sweating into it. I almost always wear gloves so I highly recommend you use gloves when using this wheel. Also the but to. Lay out feels a bit odd but again this is my first wheel so this could be the standard, but really that’s just to get through menus, the meat of the experience is the driving and it’s SOLID. I would rate it a 9/10 when considering value proposition, I researched a lot and other 8 NM bases were typically a bit more expensive with comparable prices products actually landing closer to the 5NM of torque mark.

The Force Feedback quality is very good, and the number of buttons is also excellent. I also really like the fact that it is a round wheel and allows the rim to be swapped.

Negative Points:
The stitching of the wheel runs right across the thumb rest area, which ends up causing discomfort and can even hurt the thumb. I didn’t pay much attention when I first saw reviews mentioning this issue, but it really is uncomfortable and can potentially injure the thumb, especially when using the wheel at maximum force.

The Quick Release is wearing down and getting scratched extremely quickly. I take very good care of the RS50, but I like to store my wheel detached from the base. The second time I removed it, I already noticed a kind of “metal dust” on both connectors. I’m not sure if this could cause any long-term issues. Whenever I remove the wheel, I clean both the wheel’s QR and the base because there is always a bit of this metal wear dust. And despite having very little usage time, there are already visible scratch marks on the base’s Quick Release.
Overall:
Overall, I am really enjoying the equipment. It has the feel and build quality of a premium product and is easy to configure, especially thanks to the game compatibility and recommended settings page provided by Logitech itself. The negative point that stands out the most to me is the Quick Release wear. So far it hasn’t caused any problem or difference in the wheel’s performance, and it still feels very solid when connected. The overall build quality of the product is very good, and these two negative points do not prevent using the wheel, they are simply observations and warnings at this point
