This wheel is perfect. 8nm is plenty for immersion and realism. Compares well with my friend’s Pro at half the price. Trueforce, as always, is a game changer vs the other brands.

Very nice wheel, but I've experienced problems with it.

Coming from a G923 this wheel made my G923 feel like a toy. It makes driving in GT7 feel more real. I would have gave it 5 stars if I hadn't encountered some problems. The problem I had was it would lose connection during a race. I had to cycle the wheel off and back on to connect back to the race. I tried setting the FFB from 8 to 7, that worked for a while then it disconnected again. I've now set the emulation to PS4 from PS5. The jury is still out, it hasn't failed yet since the change, I've got my fingers crossed.

I will never use a controller to race ever again...the RS50 and RS pedals have family night on lock...from my wife to my youngest, my oldest 10yrs. Old...is learning to drive with it..Great purchase!

I think this wheel goes beyond what you need as a starter and can hold you longer in your sim journey as you learn, compared to anything else on the console applicable market at this price range.
I do not like how hot it gets though. If it's advertised at 8nm, I want to use ALL 8nm. I'm a serious racer that competes in a league and I have 2-3h sessions.
I do not believe that the base should get so hot to the touch within 1h of playing time. I think that's reasonable to expect at this price point.

After owning several Logitech wheels over the years (G25,G27,G29) I upgraded to the RS50 after 10yrs on the G29. The RS50 is a game changer when coupled with the pro pedals. The fact you can upgrade or replace components at your pace is phenomenal.
