I upgraded from the g920. Everything works nicely. The direct drive is great, and the materials and controls all feel premium.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing system. Overall quality feels and looks nice for the price. It’s easy to connect and set up. It’s quiet while using and has a nice weight to it. This is a wheel that will last for years and years of racing and has improved my racing experience immensely! Highly recommend!

I really enjoy the immersion into the game you get from using a wheel set up. This is the best wheel I have ever used, and I would highly recommend if you have the funds, don't mind a learning curve, configuration tweaking, as well as set up, and storage.

Recently upgraded from the G29 and all I can say is wow! The true force along with the 8nm of force feedback ads a very intense and realistic feeling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Logitech RS50 Bundle Review
Unboxing:
Everything was well-packaged and secure. The installation instructions are conveniently printed on the box flaps, making setup straightforward right from the start. The bundle includes everything you need to get up and running.
Setup:
I mounted the components to my GT Lite racing rig with relative ease. While I would have preferred threaded holes directly on the direct drive base instead of using T nuts in brackets, this is a minor inconvenience. Once mounted, connecting the system is simple—plug all components into the built-in USB hub on the base, and then connect that hub to the PC. From there, it was smooth sailing.
Software:
Logitech G Hub immediately recognized all components, allowing me to quickly customize force feedback, sensitivity, and button mapping. I launched FH6, and everything worked right out of the box. While it doesn’t offer the extensive customization of higher-end systems like Fanatec or Moza, it remains intuitive and very user-friendly.
Hardware:
The wheel and direct drive base feel solid. Buttons and paddles have a satisfying tactile click. The built-in joysticks and rotary knobs make in-game navigation easy without needing a mouse or keyboard. When the power is cranked to 8nm, the motor delivers plenty of punch in a compact form—perfectly adequate for casual sim racers or those seeking an affordable entry into the hobby. The motor is smooth and quiet.
The pedals are sturdy and secure once bolted down, and the included force spring for the brake pedal is a nice touch. They lack the extra features of high-end offerings, but for the price, they are more than acceptable.
The 7-speed manual shifter is serviceable for its cost. It’s fun to use with its gated design, but it feels plastic and rocks slightly when shifting aggressively despite being bolted down.
Conclusion:
The Logitech RS50 bundle—which includes the wheel, direct drive base, pedals, and H shifter—is an excellent choice for newcomers to sim racing or those upgrading from a belt-driven wheel. Setup is simple, software integration is seamless, and the overall experience offers good performance for the price. While it doesn’t match the premium feel of top-tier systems, it’s an affordable and reliable option that holds its own among similarly priced competitors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic wheel, mostly. Sometimes the knobs on the bottom get cause during wide wheel turns but that's about it. In GT7 the response time with the knob is obvious but I think it's more of software integration than hardware.
