A little disappointed

My expectations were high given the reviews and info I’ve received from others but I’ve had issues with the fact that there is no soap dispenser. You have to put the soap in, start the cycle, then add your clothes or else you end up with blue soap stains on everything. It’s a real pain in the rear to have to add a couple more steps to every laundry cycle.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Exceeded Expectations

Dear Sirs, Our 22 year old washer/dryer pair were fading and we were delighted to discover that the laundromat manufacturer of durable machines, Speedqueen, also offered residential models. We purchased the matching TR7 and DR7 washer/dryer. We purchased these machines for the durability but didn’t spend very much time on their controls, which are phenomenal. The water level sensor on the washer and the moisture sensor on the dryer eliminate having to guess at settings for every load, which will no doubt translate to many saved dollars. The special cycles on the washer incorporate various soak/rinse functions which involve a single button. The 7 year in home warranty tells us that with that much confidence in these machines, we can likely expect to use them trouble free for decades. Thank you.

Best Ever!

Like my dryer review, I've probably has every make of washers and dryers. Speed Queen really lives up to their reputation. My clothes come out clean and smell great! I'm sure the materials used to manufacture it has a lot to do with it. I appreciate the construction and how the tub is set a little higher, making it easier to remove wet clothes. I thought the tub capacity would be an issue but it's not. The wash and dry cycles are faster that my previous HE models and the clothes come out better. Best warranty too!

I’ve had my washer about a month and it’s been great. It’s fast and through when it needs to be, but handled wools and cashmere with kid gloves. I switched from a LG front loader, and never once have I regretted it. It’s not quiet, but it’s not noisy, either. The warranty gives me a lot of peace of mind.

I'm not exactly sure why I spent so much money on this unit with very little performance benefit. I guess I'm paying for the warranty. Seriously it's just like the cheap one I got rid of. The worst thing is it doesn't spin fast enough or long enough, so the dryer has to work harder too.

A washing machine that works

This machine runs smoothly and quickly. What a pleasure to finally have a washing machine that doesn't need intervention to complete a cycle. It is expensive but worth it.
