I was not using a case on my last phone but that cost me in damage repair. I say that because I'm used to a light case, which this is not. I do like the stand. The back is a good flat surface versus without a case. The magnet works well. I like to be able to remove the case easily for cleaning and this one is quite tight. It's a good case with lots of features.
