The only thing I don't love, and this is being nit-picky is that the logo on the bottom of the case (crown and VC) are embossed/additional layer, not within the case itself. It is a jagged texture that catches and can be uncomfortable when I am holding my phone. I did add a magsafe popsocket though, so this helps.

The brown isn’t as mocha

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The brown isn’t as mocha brown as pictured, but I got over it. The reason for the two stars is I bought the matching grip ring with it and only a couple weeks later, it scratched circles into the case. For the price they are, this case scratches extremely easily. Will not buy from here again.

The checkered design is really nice, the “brown” is more of a pink tone rather than a true chocolate brown. It feels protective and will definitely keep your phone safe. Get the matching wallet!
