I refused to settle for off-brand junk

I've been wanting a quality battery powered Bluetooth speaker for a long time.I have a prince's taste on a pauper's budget, so I resisted buying on the low end and just settling for that. I'm so glad that Bose put this product on sale when I could manage the purchase. Since it is a Bose, I expected to be impressed by this product, and I was not disappointed. Maybe next month I can get another one to pair with it for the stereo.

Purchased a couple weeks ago. Sound is very impressive for the speaker size. Really fills the room. Easy to pack as I wanted a new speaker for travel. Works well on phone calls.

Great sound, many problems

Excellent quality sound and lots of problems. Pairing issues, gen 1 and 2 won't pair, 2 different Bose apps, voice prompts refuse to shut off, constant loud connect/disconnect thumps, powers down despite 'always on' setting... I should've stuck with JBL.

Received as Christmas gift. Already had a Sony that I had been using for a while but the Bose was lighter more powerful and sounded much better so that I could take it with me on my daily walks. Best sound of any I've used.

Disconnects

Sometimes it disconnects for no reason, as if the app does not recognize that the music is on.
