Great clear sounding speakers. Would of liked a tad bit more volume. Bought a second one for "party mode". Great decision!!!

Great speaker, NOT BACKWARD COMPATIBLE!!

This speaker has great Bose sound but IT IS NOT BACKWARD COMPATIBLE WITH GEN1 SOUNDLINK PRODUCTS!!
The Gen1 products use the "Bose Connect" app, but the Gen2 use the "Bose" app. So if you have any previous Soundlink products you cannot link them to Gen2 for Party Mode or Stereo Mode.
Bose - this is a deal killer! Why would you make them this way? I own numerous Bose products, including 3 other Soundlink speakers, but now I can't use them with the new Flex even though you advertise all Soundlink products as being compatible.
I expect more than this from Bose .....

I bought this for my grown-up son for Christmas 2024. The sound is excellent as Bose always is. I am thinking about buying one to put on my fishing boat. Great product.

Big sound in a small package!

I’ve purchased 6 of these now as I absolutely love them.
They sound amazing, have excellent battery life and provide a satisfied listening experience whether you’re at home, work, hanging out at the pool/beach or enjoying nature on a hiking trail. No complaints! We love the Bose App (Bose Connect) which allows us to pair 2 speakers using party mode. This feature allows us to enjoy the music inside and outside by the pool, and yes, they’re waterproof! No complaints about this or any other Bose product. Oh and the reason I’ve bought 6 is because I love sharing and they make great gifts.

I bought this for Christmas as a gift to myself to use @ Mardi Gras. I am quite pleased!! The sound is amazing. It has the sound of a big speaker and the base is extraordinary

Great pairing

Much easier to use than gen 1. Automatically pairs with another gen 2 starting with stereo. Sounds seems better in highs and midrange. Both gen 1 and gen 2 sound great much beyond their size. Even good with classical music

I have been exposed to a few of these from family members and was always impressed with the Big sound from a small speaker! I now have one of my own and am still amazed. Thanks for the great sound.
