Great sound, awful battery life

I bought this product as a gift to myself a few weeks ago to replace an Altec I've had for almost 7~8 years. I absolutely LOVE the sound. The bass is perfect and vocal clarity is awesome. The problem I have is the battery life. I specifically bought this speaker because the battery life of my previous speaker had gotten pretty terrible after so many years of use. I expect alot more from Bose and especially for the price.

Wonderful Speaker

I was surprised by the sound of this speaker. It sounds wonderful. It can really get loud too. But we didn't buy it because could get loud. Quality of sound is just great. Surprisingly strong bass as well. I bought it for my wife who like to craft, sew and do other projects. She has been using her iPhone to play music. This is way better and she loves it.
