Great for hearing impaired

I purchased the Bose SoundLink flex Portable Speaker (2nd Gen) for my Aunt who doesn't hear very well and she loves it. She can now work in the kitchen and talk hands free and hear when someone's texting or calling. She just loves it!

I have a set of the first generation I needed stereo even with the software update getting them in stereo didn’t work 3 quarters of the time. The second generation works great

Overall this is a great little speaker. For its size and weight it produces very good sound quality and has good battery life. As some have indicated, the app could have an equalizer with more channels but not a big deal. One area I think could be improved is the markings and feel of the switches. A better tactile response would be good and more clearly marked switches would be great. Not a show stopper by any means. If I were looking to buy another speaker of this size I would not hesitate to buy another SoundLink Flex. Bose always comes through with superior sound quality. Keep in mind this unit is not designed to fill a concert hall with perfect sound. It is a compact, affordable, personal speaker.
