A nice addition to my Samsung devices

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is an improvement of my S10+. I like the larger display. I wish the S-pen holder from the S10 keyboard case was copied on the S11 as the pen keeps getting knocked off when opening or closing the keyboard. Also it would be a great addition to have lighting on the keyboard.
Everthing else about the table is great and I am glad I upgraded.

Great upgrade in most areas

This is an upgrade from the Samsung 8 Ultra. I loved the S8 however the battery was terrible out of the box. After a year it was a plug in only situation when using it. Being assured the battery was better on the S11 Ultra I took advantage of the opportunity to purchase the S11 ultra with a great promotion. The display is great with many options depending on your needs. I have no problems with wifi connection. The performance is good but it can have a mind of
Its own especially when using the S Pen. There's plenty of storage and I have inserted a 1tb SD card. I keep a lot of apps in the storage although its not necessary. The biggest complaint is again the battery. Its not great. Better than the S8 but not by much.

Upgraded from the S8 ultra to the s11 ultra.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you own any of the other previous ultra models, you really aren't going to notice a difference. The only difference I notice is with the battery life, it's better than my S8 ultra. As far as performance, screen quality, I can't tell a difference. The 11 ultra does require a new case, but the old screen protectors still work. They swapped around the power and volume rocker, and the cameras on the back are a little different. Speaking of the cameras, they are better, I am able to tell a difference in the photos. It also charges faster, almost 40 w sometimes. It is a little bit thinner than the S8 ultra, and a bit lighter, but it's not automatically noticeable. I use my tablet basically for streaming content, and if I'm doing research on a product I'll use the tablet to be able to read the descriptions, and see larger pictures of what I'm shopping for. I don't play games on it, not really into that anymore. And I'm easily able to get about 8 hours of screen on time. It does come with Android 16 installed and with Samsung's one UI version 8, so there is a little bit of difference in the menus. And for some reason they got rid of the Bluetooth stylus, you can no longer control the tablet with the button on the stylus. The biggest reason I was upgrading was because of the battery. The battery in my S8 ultra just wasn't lasting very long. So I really don't recommend upgrading unless you are having battery issues also, because using between the two, I cannot tell a difference.

Small upgrades, massive downgrades.

The overall specs of the tablet have indeed improved, and performance has definitely gotten faster! However, that's where the benefits end. The new spen design is indeed nice, but the removal of bluetooth is a bummer. Yes, it was useless 70% of the time, but for a tablet this expensive, we want ALL the futures. And even if bluetooth is removed, the iconic magnetic strip at the back of the tablet is what made samsung convenient and unique. That strip differentiated it from iPads and other tablets, it's samsung's unique mark (and it looks pretty too). As for convenience, its far more secure to have it on the back, along with the case, as opposed to just dangling on the side. Having it attached to the side means a wider case, and again, it just doesn't look as aesthetically pleasing as having it on the back. For future tablets, even if bluetooth stays discontinued, returning the magnetic strip at the back is a must.

Another great, more powerful galaxy tab

This is my third flagship galaxy tab and I absolutely love it.
The extra power of the dimensity 9400+ was worth the upgrade; some games are actually allowing higher graphics settings than they did on the previous generations and that has made mobile gaming even better than it already was.
I've run 3dmark benchmarks on the s11 ultra vs devices with the snapdragon 8 elite and a19pro chips and it is on par to slightly beating them in wildlife extreme and steel nomad light, though trailing in raytracing (solar bay extreme).
So far there is not a single game that the s11 ultra can't handle smoothly at maxed out graphics settings.
I will say that the new s-pen is worse but not horrible. The old one felt a little smoother, and of course bluetooth functions in the s-pen are gone. Putting the s-pen spot on the edge of the tablet instead of the back is also a questionable choice because if you have the tablet in a clamp style holder (that clamps at the top and bottom of the screen), you now have nowhere to put the pen at all.
The s11's don't have a haptic motor either, which is kind of inexcusable for a flagship device. It's not the end of the world, but it has me scratching my head a bit.
If it wasn't for the stripped down s-pen and lack of haptics feeling like cost cutting measures, I would have easily given this 5 stars because I absolutely love this tablet, and the extra power brings it closer to its competitors. I would still highly recommend upgrading to the s11 series if you like to play the latest and greatest mobile games, or do any kind of work that can benefit from the extra power. For day to day use, youtube, web browsing, you're not going to notice much of a difference.
I would recommend this to a friend!
