Room for improvement

Because I travel almost constantly, I use this big tablet in place of a PC and also as my TV, streaming shows off the net. So I wanted a large display, and this thing has it! YouTube videos look great on it as well. I might use the S-pen, but am afraid to bring it along as no place is provided to carry it safely. Instead I use a larger, harder to lose, rubber-tipped stylus. One constant irritant is a lack of response on the touchscreen when using a glass screen protector. I've used screen protectors on all my devices over the years, and they've saved them from damage multiple times. At first I was sure there was something physically wrong with the screen, but upon searching blogs I found it's a common complaint with this particular model, the S11 Ultra. The only response I saw from Samsung is to remove the protector. Since I carry it into various outside environments, I really don't want to do that. At times it just seems 'frozen' to taps unless my finger is in exactly the right place. I even turned ON the higher screen sensitivity option, which helped a little but didn't truly fix it. I hope Samsung can fix this bug in a future software update.

No GPS radio

The good: It's a very powerful tablet that can truly take the place of a laptop when traveling. The battery life is decent, the screen is large enough to have several apps open at once, and the the display quality is amazing.
The bad: Using this as a tablet can be a bit tricky due to its overall size. It has good weight for how big it is, but it is still somewhat heavy, making it a bit tough to handle on a daily basis.
The really really bad: Per Samsung support, even though in Samsung's documentation it claims to have a built in GPS, Samsung support has indicated in writing that this device doesn't have a GPS radio. This means it can't be used for any GPS function, such as google maps.

The ability to update the GPS would require connection to Wi-Fi on your tablet, and once you leave your house if you are not connected to a hotspot it would not be able to connect to the satellite to update your maps. Excellent screen and device, questionable design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent device with a massive, beautiful screen. I have used Samsung devices for many generations, this is the latest and greatest for tablets. Everything I have been doing on my S25 ultra phone was directly copied over to this tablet and I could quickly resume everything I was doing - at work writing documents and taking notes, at home using social media, booking trips, editing photos with Galaxy AI, watching movies. I also bought it with the official Samsung keyboard case which works very well, the only thing I wish this additionally had is more angles to set the screen at as the one angle can be restrictive when switching between using it on a table/on my lap.
The one design decision I disagree with on the tablet itself is this push for being as thin as possible. I would have loved a thicker (and heavier would be fine too) tablet if it could give more battery life. This tablet became one more thing to plug in at the end of the day, it would be nice if it could last longer than that. With that being said, it does charge very fast.

Great tablet

I like the AI features that help create and finish projects. Overall I'm really happy with the device and would recommend getting one.
