Magnificent graphics and display.

With disabilities in both hands, only able to type with my rin finger, the phone makes it faster and painless! My thanks to the creators of this design!

No GPS radio

The good: It's a very powerful tablet that can truly take the place of a laptop when traveling. The battery life is decent, the screen is large enough to have several apps open at once, and the the display quality is amazing.
The bad: Using this as a tablet can be a bit tricky due to its overall size. It has good weight for how big it is, but it is still somewhat heavy, making it a bit tough to handle on a daily basis.
The really really bad: Per Samsung support, even though in Samsung's documentation it claims to have a built in GPS, Samsung support has indicated in writing that this device doesn't have a GPS radio. This means it can't be used for any GPS function, such as google maps.

The ability to update the GPS would require connection to Wi-Fi on your tablet, and once you leave your house if you are not connected to a hotspot it would not be able to connect to the satellite to update your maps. Easy UI, Amazing Viewing Experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Tab 11 Ultra!! The Galaxy AI provides me superior productivity...the Note Assist, Circle to Search, and Drawing Assist are very useful.
It's been an excellent transition product from my PC!
If I had one minor place for improvement, it would be the data transfer rate from external devices. The next generation should aim for a bus that transfer at a speed closer the current speeds available like Thunderbolt 4 and 5.

Room for improvement

Because I travel almost constantly, I use this big tablet in place of a PC and also as my TV, streaming shows off the net. So I wanted a large display, and this thing has it! YouTube videos look great on it as well. I might use the S-pen, but am afraid to bring it along as no place is provided to carry it safely. Instead I use a larger, harder to lose, rubber-tipped stylus. One constant irritant is a lack of response on the touchscreen when using a glass screen protector. I've used screen protectors on all my devices over the years, and they've saved them from damage multiple times. At first I was sure there was something physically wrong with the screen, but upon searching blogs I found it's a common complaint with this particular model, the S11 Ultra. The only response I saw from Samsung is to remove the protector. Since I carry it into various outside environments, I really don't want to do that. At times it just seems 'frozen' to taps unless my finger is in exactly the right place. I even turned ON the higher screen sensitivity option, which helped a little but didn't truly fix it. I hope Samsung can fix this bug in a future software update.

The 12.4-inch AMOLED screen is bright enough for outdoor field use, making it easy to monitor waterfall displays or log contacts in sunlight.
I use this tablet primarily for digital modes, and it handles apps like APRSdroid, WoAD (Winlink), and various FT8 tools without breaking a sweat. The multitasking capabilities are impressive; I can keep a live frequency guide open on one half of the screen while running my logbook on the other. I’ve also been experimenting with the Galaxy AI Note Assist features to transcribe and summarize voice notes during nets, which is a huge help for staying organized without fumbling for a pen.
The IP68 water resistance gives me peace of mind when I'm operating POTA (Parks on the Air) and the weather turns. Battery life has been solid, easily lasting through a full afternoon of radio activity. If you’re looking for a rugged, high-performance tablet for emcomm or hobbyist radio work, this is it.
