When I did install after pulling out plastic tab and pressing in center the protector screen was not fully installed on my phone. Had to use my finger to pull out if plastic case and press on it with my finger to have it stick to phone.
I dropped it the first day and it chipped the edge

Highly disappointed. I have used many of their products for various devices since 2008. The last few privacy shields I have purchased from Zagg are just not up to par. Very poor quality especially for the price. They tend to crack within a very short period of time and it always seems to happen when my device isn’t dropped or barely touches another surface.

Already broken - I’ve had it for 2 weeks maybe? And i dropped my phone getting out of the car and boom spider cracks all over it. Maybe this is why there’s a lifetime warranty…

ZAGG has many options for cell phone accessories and is a recognizable brand. The Privacy Protector for the Apple iPhone 17 Pro Max is advertised as having minimal brightness attenuation, but I found it to be anywhere between 30 and 50 percent. To overcome this, I turned off auto brightness and set the screen brightness to max. In dark rooms, I can lower it to about 60%. I cannot live with this, so I have scrapped it for a non privacy screen protector. Another issue is that the edge of the protector is very sharp. We will see if the new protector has the same issue. This isn't noticeable when using a case with a raised edge, but if you use one of the thin minimal cases that stops at the edge of the screen and does not extend past, you can feel the sharp edge every time you swipe from the edge of the screen.

I love the privacy features but will admit for how I use my phone I am not a 💯 sure it’s for me… I use it as a calculator and unless I hold it just right I cannot see how and where I am for adding numbers. So the part is slightly more backward….and it seem darker and am constantly trying to make it brighter.
I didn’t expect the screen to be so dark. I have to turn up the lighting on my phone now in order to see everything properly. I’m not happy about that.
