[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was kind of excited when my old washer started to go out and I became even more excited to find this Maytag washer with a Pet Pro option. I have 4 dogs and a cat in my house and our old washer was not great at handling the amount of pet hair on our clothing. The Maytag Pet Pro has a sleek look to it and a glass top that allows for viewing the cycle in use. I love the removable filter that collects the pet hair and I am seeing a HUGE difference in how much hair is on clothing and blankets after washing. I'm also a fan of the different settings and the roomy wash interior. I've been able to wash dog beds using the "bulky items" setting with great results. I've been incredibly satisfied with this washer.

Pet Pro is a great feature

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Finally I am able to have less cat fur on my clothes! I love the Pet Pro option and can tell when I forget to turn it on. I had an LG front load washer and am delighted to be rid of it. This Maytag top load washer noticeably cleans my clothes better…and that’s what it’s all about.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this washer because of the Pet Pro. It WORKS! Our dog sheds alot and there is pet hair everywhere. Now there will be less hair going down the drain and in turn less hair in the dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I have been pleasantly pleased with this Maytag Pet Pro washing machine with the Impaler agator.
With a German Shepard Dog, I was amazed with the amount of fur that was collected in the removable filter when washing both dog beds & my queen size bedding that he lays next to on the floor. The Extra Power really helps spinning out the rinse water in heavy items. Highly recommend for folks with shedding furbabies :-)

Could have been a good machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My biggest complaint is the auto fill. It doesn't put enough water in it to wash or rinse. Have had fabric softener and detergent on my laundry after it was done. There are no notifications letting you know when the first since cycle is done so that you can manually add your softener. So unless you stand there and wait you miss that bus. And this is because there is no trays for detergent or softener. It is added to the basket.

Loading: Avoid overloading and sort laundry by color.
Washer Maintenance: Run a routine Clean Washer cycle.
Cycle and Settings
Washing cycles optimize agitation/tumbling speed, spin speed, and water temperature.
Temperature: Select based on fabric and soil, adhering to labels. Modern HE warm/hot settings may be cooler. A small amount of warm water is added to "Cold" wash for detergent activation.
Soil Level: Adjusts wash time (agitation duration). Use Extra Heavy or Extra Power for heavily soiled items and Light for lightly soiled clothes to minimize wrinkling.
Spin Speed: Faster speeds reduce drying time but increase wrinkling. Slower speeds reduce wrinkling but require longer drying. Consult the Cycle Guide for details.
