[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not thrilled with this purchase and product. First, you need to ensure that when you are putting in your clothes you are balancing the clothes, this machine is sensitive, and if too many towels, or one blanket makes the balance uneven then the machine will shut down mid cycle leaving all your items sopping wet and needing to start over (just annoying and not efficient, but also not a deal breaker). Additionally, i purchased this machine because of the Pet Hair Filtration, i haven't really noticed any difference and i have two pets that shed like crazy. when i clean out the filter after each wash, not much is in there, and it isn't catching a lot. But the reason i am most unhappy with this machine is the amount of lint stuck to my clothes, i am pulling clothes out of this washing machine that are covered in lint and look dirtier coming out of the washing machine than going in. Very frustrating
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

What is an Unbalanced Load? An off-balance load occurs when laundry is not distributed evenly, often during the spin cycle. This can lead to noise, excessive shaking, reduced spin speed, longer cycle times, and clothes remaining wet. The washer may stop spinning or display an error if the imbalance is significant.
Washer Self-Correction: The washer will attempt to self-correct by refilling and gently rotating back and forth to redistribute the clothing. If it fails, it will display an error message.
Proper Loading: Place clothes in loose heaps, distributing them evenly around the agitator/wash plate to prevent vibration.
Washing Large/Heavy Items:
Check the care label for machine washability (some bulky items may require a front-load commercial-style washer).
For water-absorbent items (like quilts), distribute them in a donut shape around the impeller.
Wash two or three similar absorbent articles (not just one, like a single rug) to balance the load for a good spin.
Do not overload the washer; clothes should be loosely added and only as high as the top row of holes in the wash basket.
Do not add extra water, as it can cause items to float and reduce cleaning action.
Check Washer Level: The washer must be level, with all four feet firmly contacting the floor. If it rocks diagonally, it needs to be leveled to prevent noise and vibration, especially during the spin cycle.

Poor Wash Cycles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The washer does not spin after it washes for first rinse. This forces a second rinse to be used. The clothes puff up due to air being trapped. This does not sufficiently wash the clothes. Using the old Maytag with an agitator would have only needed to be set on low, not medium. Now, at the end of a single wash cycle with only one rinse it puts in 20 seconds of water then spins & spins for at least 15 minutes. We bought Maytag washers for over 40 years. We have a major problem!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Pet fur doesn't stand a chance!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always liked Maytag products, but was never really a passionate customer... Until now. I thought the Pet Pro was a gimmick, something the PR team threw on there to upcharge an otherwise mediocre washer.
I was dead wrong.
Living with a small pack of huskies and German Shepherds, hair has always been a way of life for us, and wearing black was a losing battle. But now? Now our clothes smell great, feel great, and come out with minimal dog fur! Even getting the smaller filter due to the impeller on the washer, the combination of the washer and dryer pulls out SO much fur! Stains don't stand a chance, either! The impeller has so much torque and power, both my wife and I were shocked that it wasn't a full agitator. And the cycles are super quick compared to our last washer, even running the settings for a deeper clean. All things considered, we're extremely happy with this set, and very satisfied with them. Well worth the money!
