[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so disappointed in this machine because I deliberately purchased the Maytag with the most dials so that I can control this thing. I did not want a bunch of computer style buttons, but the On and Start buttons are exactly that. But that's not my only disappointment-- WHO MAKES A MACHINE THAT HAS NO PLACE FOR SOAP?!!! OR one that doesn't fill with the water BEFORE LOCKING so the soap can be a little diluted into the water prior to adding the clothes. Detergent is not meant to directly touch clothes. It RUINS them!!! What do you suggest I do? And don't say put it in the bottom of the machine and put my clothes on top of the soap because that makes no sense either!! Lastly, there is no mini-load setting like my previous Maytag.

Great Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This washer is brand new to us and my husband and children are thrilled. It is easy to use, there are not a tone of digital setting for them to figure out and best of all, no leaking from the door of a front loader (which I love). The kids and myself love that we can watch how the washing happens because the life is see through. It is intriguing to us. My husband loves the faucet option as well. I also love that it’s not so deep that I need a stool to reach the bottom. It is also large enough to wash our bedding which is really nice.

Maytag Dependability

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jury is still out. Machine looks great and wondering about the noise level vs our last “quieter” Kitchen Aide machine. Clothes are clean although we probably will never use the Pet Pro feature! The spin cycle is very very fast so we have only been using the delicate cycle. We are hoping the brand name Maytag gives us peace of mind!

So Far, So Good — Love the Agitator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good! I’ve had this washer for a little over a month and I’m very happy with it. I love the different wash options and that I can control how much water it uses, or set it to automatic water filling. The glass lid is a great feature—I like being able to see my clothes washing and check the water level. I also absolutely love the agitator; it cleans so much better than an impeller. Overall, I’m very pleased with this washer so far.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mediocre for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can no longer wash pillows in my machine because it will not balance or finish the load. It took 1.5 hrs and still was not done. I guess I have to take pillows to the laundromat now. Disappointing. It takes longer to do a load than my old machine. I do not like the lock on the lid and how it cannot be overridden. I do like the 4.7 capacity . It will do my king size comforter. I don’t really recommend this washing machine at this time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love this washer!

Instead of running around with dog hair on my clothes, it gathers into a nice ball in the filter, that is easily disposed of. Love the window lid, allowing me to see what is happening. Love the setting options. I didn't realize how large 4.7 was!
