Problems filling

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Washer is not working properly. Jumps from Sense to Done, back and forth for at least 30 minutes. Takes a hour to run thru cycle. Can someone contact me??

Keeping it Clean & Simple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What we were looking for in a washing machine was a top load washer without a whole bunch of bells and whistles but gets the job done! This one is simple, it's not like we're old or anything, it's just that we don't need Alexa to alert us that our clothes have finished the spin cycle! All the extra bells and whistles end up doing is breaking!!!

Almost perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Maytag. It works really well, the cleaning is excellent, and overall the machine performs well. There are only 2 things that I suggest you improve: a) it is noisier than my previous washer; b) I still find cumbersome to not have a dedicated place for the soap (pouring it under the clothes does not feel "natural"). Otherwise, I am a happy customer.

Horrible machine - do not buy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is absolutely the worst washing machine we have ever owned, and that is going back 40+ years. Even the firmware is defective. Terribly noisy, moves around despite adding footers designed to keep it quieter and from moving. Even with moderate loads, frequently spins off axis so re-cycles and just keeps doing that until I switch it off and re-arrange the load, sometimes more than once. (Part of the problem is weak springs.)Twists clothing up, despite not having a tall agitator. Cheaply built as well. We should have bought LGs and will never buy anything from Maytag or any of the Whirlpool group of products again. Wish I could give this zero stars.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Please see the following troubleshooting tips:
What is an Unbalanced Load? An off-balance load occurs when laundry is not distributed evenly, often during the spin cycle. This can lead to noise, excessive shaking, reduced spin speed, longer cycle times, and clothes remaining wet. The washer may stop spinning or display an error if the imbalance is significant.
Washer Self-Correction: The washer will attempt to self-correct by refilling and gently rotating back and forth to redistribute the clothing. If it fails, it will display an error message.
Proper Loading: Place clothes in loose heaps, distributing them evenly around the agitator/wash plate to prevent vibration.
Washing Large/Heavy Items:
Check the care label for machine washability (some bulky items may require a front-load commercial-style washer).
For water-absorbent items (like quilts), distribute them in a donut shape around the impeller.
Wash two or three similar absorbent articles (not just one, like a single rug) to balance the load for a good spin.
Do not overload the washer; clothes should be loosely added and only as high as the top row of holes in the wash basket.
Do not add extra water, as it can cause items to float and reduce cleaning action.
Check Washer Level: The washer must be level, with all four feet firmly contacting the floor. If it rocks diagonally, it needs to be leveled to prevent noise and vibration, especially during the spin cycle.

Very Pleased

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice drum, larger than you'd expect. Cleans good, noise is reasonable and wash times are good. Overall, I love it, I had an Amanda prior which compared to this was horrible. I would recommend at the price point.
