[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works really well, my kids are rough on clothes as they stay outside playing in the woods and the dirt, this washing machine has seem to do great at helping keeping their clothes clean. The cycle time actually doesn’t seem the best that long and I like how it does show you how much time is left water levels are great seems to be very little vibration and if the load gets unlevel it will stop and wait for you to come fix the problem. Agitation seems to be working pretty good and with the lid that is on this washing machine you can watch as your clothes get washed
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall - for this type (which is all that is offered now) with all the push buttons and software running these things. This washer seemed to us to stand out of the crowd. BUT I PREFER THE OLD STYLE OF WASHER, THAT DOESN'T SENSE HOW MUCH WEIGHT THERE IS AND HOW MUCH WATER TO USE. I PREFER THE OLD STYLE OF WASHER WHERE FEW THINGS COULD BREAK AND IT WOULD LAST 10-15 YEARS OR GREATER BEFORE HAVING TO BE REPLACED.

Terrible washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right off the bat I felt the washer vibrated way too much and did not seem balanced even with a completely empty load. When I started running cycles, the agitator seemed out of sync with what it should be doing. If there was no water in the unit it would agitate and look like it was destroying the clothes, and if the tub had a lot of water in it the agitator would barely move and the clothes just sat exactly where they stood and did not move at all. I wound up returning this because either I got a lemon, or that is Maytag's version of how a wash cycle should work, either way I was not impressed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Washer Balance, Loading, and Leveling Guide & Unbalanced Loads
An "off-balance" load occurs when laundry is not evenly distributed in the basket, typically during the spin cycle.
Signs: This issue can cause noise, excessive shaking, reduced spin speed, longer cycle times, and clothes remaining wet. In severe cases, the washer may stop spinning or display an error.
Self-Correction: The washer attempts to self-correct by refilling and gently rotating back and forth to redistribute the clothing. If this fails to even out the load, an error message will display.
Proper Loading and Heavy Items
To prevent out-of-balance loads and vibration:
General Loading: Place clothes in loose heaps, distributing them evenly around the agitator/impeller.
Overloading: Never overload the washer; clothes should be added loosely and reach no higher than the top row of holes in the wash basket.
Water Level: Do not add extra water, as this can cause items to float and lessen the cleaning action.
Bulky/Heavy Items:
Check the care label, as some bulky items may require a front-load commercial-style washer.
Distribute water-absorbent items (e.g., quilts, cotton blankets) in a donut shape around the impeller.
Wash two or three similar absorbent articles (e.g., rugs) together to ensure a balanced load for a good spin, rather than just one.
Washer Level
The washer must be level, with all four feet in firm contact with the floor, to prevent the load from becoming unbalanced, which leads to excessive noise and vibration during the spin cycle.
Check: Try to rock the washer diagonally; if it rocks, it needs to be leveled. You can use your phone to level household appliances.
Drain Pan: If using a drain pan, the leveling legs may need adjustment to raise the machine's height.

Get booster cycle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great washer! Love that I can connect to my phone. Clothes come out clean and less stain remover is used when I use the extra power boost and deep water cycle. Also I can put my king comforter in this washer without any issues and it spins all the water out and no shaking of the washer.
